This review will be on the Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in the shade 10 Senso.
A long-lasting, tinted formula with the comfort and smoothness of a cream for intense, vibrant eye looks.
What it does:
This innovative formula transforms from liquid to solid, instantly adhering to the eyelid while providing 16 hours of smudge- and crease-proof wear. Formulated with a hold booster, a creamy polymer with glycerine that allows pure color pigments to blend together seamlessly and stay on lids, this tint is infused with a color vibrancy booster, which is enriched with natural pigments and pearls. This unique complex works together to evenly disperse high-density color. This eye tint features dynamic runway-inspired shades that can be used as an eye shadow or eyeliner, or layer them together for natural to glamorous looks. This innovative formula debuted at the Giorgio Armani Womenswear Spring/Summer 2015 show.
My Experience with Giorgio Armani Senso Eye Tint:
I have also previously reviewed the shade 6 Green Iron from this same line.
Packaging: This product comes in a simple long tube resembling a lip gloss. The shade of the eye tint is clearly visible from outside. It has a small doe-foot applicator which makes application easy breezy. You can even use the wand on its side to apply this product on the lower lash line or as an eyeliner.
Texture and Pigmentation: This product is basically a cream-to-powder eyeshadow. When you apply it from the applicator directly on the lids and blend with fingers or a fluffy brush, it turns into smooth creamy powder base. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy and goes on with insanely opaque pigmentation. It does not go uneven or patchy. It is very easy to layer on the color for a deeper and opaque finish, but it is not necessary as one coat would give you the desired result.
It is so easy to blend these colors into the next one with a smooth seamless transition with absolutely no effort. You do not even need any applicator to use this product since it’s so easy to blend just with fingertips. In the EOTD, I have use Senso on the outer end of the eyes and created the whole look by just using my fingers – in a couple of minutes.
Shade: The shade “Senso” is an absolutely beautiful deep chocolate brown. This color looks fantastic as an outer corner shade on the eyes or even on its own to create a brown smoky look. It has a tiny speck of shimmer which gives a beautiful sheen, but it’s not glittery or gritty. It gives absolutely no fall out.
Staying Power: Staying power is fantastic. It does not crease at all and stays put for 8 hours with little to no fading. It retains vibrancy throughout the day. It does not smudge nor does it feel sticky or tacky.
Overall, yes this is an absolutely brilliant product and worth every penny. I highly recommend this and I do plan on getting a couple of more shades in the future, most probably the lighter shades to compare if the performance is just as good as the deeper shade. This eye tint gets two thumbs up from me 🙂
