After using this entire Giovanni smooth as silk range I picked up their conditioner and protein hair infusion to design my hair care regime. And I must admit my hair loves this so very much. My experience with Giovanni Eco Chic Smooth as Silk Xtreme Protein Hair Infusion:
Packaging: The protein infusion comes in a simple transparent plastic tube. The tube has a flip-cap opening that shuts with a click. The packing is nice sturdy but is not that travel-friendly.
Consistency and smell: The protein infusion is white in colour and has thick balm like consistency and the smell too is yuck oil-y types but thank God!It is bearable. The smell vanishes as soon as the mask is applied to wet hair.
Results: You see the ingredients list? It seems as if the entire Organix kitchen is poured into this single tube: from macadamia nut oil to shea butter every type of hair protein is present in this particular product. I apply this as post wash treatment once every week from mid-lengths to tips; leave it for 10 mins and rinse with cold water. Tada! Hello silky, smooth and shiny hair.
This protein infusion improves hair texture gradually; with each use hair becomes more and more shiny, smooth soft and manageable. I have noticed drastic reduction in hair fall and frizz which was my main concern. Plus I feel this protein infusion has repaired all the chemical and mechanical damages my hair has been through in so many years.
