My experience with Givenchy #06 Precious Rose Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick :
Packaging: It is the most gorgeous packaging I have ever seen in a lipstick other than YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks. The packaging is a piece of art in itself. It screams elegance! The black ribbon on the bottom is for pulling out the lipstick. It has a black color glossy case with Givenchy embossed on it. The tube is silver and has the monogram of Givenchy embossed on it. needless to say it is a very sturdy and travel friendly packaging and I am pretty sure wherever I go, I am going to carry this lipstick in my purse and flaunt it at every chance I get. Hehe!
Shade: Ihese days I am really into natural/ neutral/ n*de lip colors so I decided to buy a somewhat MLBB shade from the Givenchy Rouge Interdit line. After swatching every single neutral shade from this range, I settled on the shade Precious Rose as I thought this would be a nice MLBB or next to MLBB shade for my skin tone and indeed, I was right!. The shade Precious Rose is a very muted warm rose color with brown undertones and it is THE perfect everyday wear neutral lipstick. It contains shimmer though the shimmer is not really visible unless you see the lipstick under broad sunlight. It definitely has a nice glossiness to it.
Texture, pigmentation and longevity: It has a nice creamy texture and it just feels very moisturizing on the lips. it does not dry out my lips and nor does it settle into fine lines. It glides on to the lips like a dream and stays on for around 5 hours on me with a meal in between. But I don’t reapplying this lipstick because of its super hydrating texture and also because it is so beautiful in its packaging that I love to reapply this lipstick. The color payoff is also excellent. If you apply generously, even one coat of this lipstick is sufficient for depositing 80% of the color onto the lips.
Pros of Givenchy #06 Precious Rose Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick :
• The most gorgeous packaging I have seen in a lipstick. it is also very sturdy and travel-friendly.
• Perfect neutral rose shade that will suit all skin tones
• Lasts on me for a good 5 hours
• One of the most hydrating lipsticks I have ever tried.
• Does not settle into fine lines on lips
• Contains minute shimmer but that only adds more glossiness to the lipstick
• Perfect everyday wear lipstick
• Excellent color payoff
Cons of Givenchy #06 Precious Rose Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick :
• It does not stand up to its claim of being a long wearing lipstick.
Will I repurchase/ do I recommend Givenchy #06 Precious Rose Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick ?
Whenever I have to buy another high-end lipstick next, I am pretty sure Givenchy Rouge Interdit lipstick is going to be it. I recommend this to everyone!

A high end lipstick with a very elegant and classy packaging, hydrating and smooth texture and decent pigmentation and wear- time. What more can a girl want?!

Tube looks like the lippy is filled with shimmers, but on lips beautiful shade. Great review 🙂
Like I mentioned, it does contain shimmer but it only looks glossy on the lips, not shimmery/ frosty :))
