I gifted myself this perfume on my birthday 3 months back. I always read reviews and only then buy perfumes, as they are an expensive and not an impulse purchase for me. Though for the first time I indulged in an impulse buy for a perfume.

Product Description: A deeper, richer & more sensual version of the original fresh, sweet, intense, feminine & inebriating. Top notes of lemon, neroli & green tea. Middle notes of frangipani, jasmine & orange blossom. Base notes of musk, vanilla, cedar & patchouli. Launched in 2011. Perfect for all occasions.

Price: Rs. 4700 for 50 ml.

My Experience with Givenchy Ange Ou Etrange Le Secret EDT:

This bottle is quite different from the rest of them in my collection. It has some grooves on the back side of the bottle, which helps me in handling the bottle better. I had broken a full bottle of perfume some months back. 🙁

The fragrance is simply beautiful. It’s neither too light nor too strong. It’s a floral perfume. The orange blossom hits the nose first, followed by green tea, neroli and musky as the base notes. The whole fragrance opens up like a symphony. It’s warm, deep, soft and sensual. It’s long lasting and stays on for at least 9 hours.

The first day I wore it to office, my co-workers complimented on how lovely the fragrance smelled. I prefer to use it in the evenings (unless I go out with my husband in the afternoons), as the smell is on the heavier side and it draws attention. But it can be used anytime.
The fragrance is very feminine, sophisticated and fresh. Overall I love it! Its a great scent and not at all overpowering.

Yes! But always try the perfume on your skin before you purchase it. Every perfume smells different on different people.

Would I Re-purchase Givenchy Ange Ou Etrange Le Secret EDT?

No. There are too many perfumes on my purchase list which I would pick up over time.
