I had never tried any Givenchy perfume before this. I first got this one as a sample from Sephora and then I decided to buy the full size as I really liked it. So read on to find out whether I actually ended up loving this fragrance or not.

The bottle is made of lacquered glass in shades of gold. The bottle is also adorned with gold thread around its neck and with an engraved chrome plate that bears the name of the perfume. The transparent bottle holds fragments of golden leaves. I just love how luxurious this perfume looks.
My Experience with Givenchy Dahlia Divin Le Nectar de Parfum:
To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from this perfume. After creating a hole in your own pocket, your expectations rise. Right? I found this one to be overly sweet and overpowering. I found it a little too heavy for daytime and also it is a very noticeable fragrance.
Whenever I wore it, everyone would ask which perfume it was. But I couldn’t make out whether they were asking me in a good way or a bad way. I think they might have found it really strong. It can still be carried at night if used in the right amount and only on the pulse points. It’s a very warm and sensual fragrance mainly with a vanilla-jasmine combination.
The fragrance is fruity-floral but very different regular fruity-floral combinations. I love the packaging and how the bottle is framed. It gives a very sophisticated look and is very eye-catching, too. I would say sniff this perfume 2-3 times properly before buying it. Be sure about your purchase as this one is very expensive.

No, I won’t repurchase this one at all. Firstly, because I am not a fan of this fragrance. Secondly, I don’t repurchase perfumes. I like trying new fragrances.

I won’t recommend it to anyone until and unless someone really likes the fragrance. I would say you can invest your money in some other Givenchy fragrance, or buy a Chanel instead.
