Packaging:
It comes packaged in a transparent glass bottle which has ‘Givenchy’ written in a black coloured font. This bottle has a chrome coloured outer cap, which has a black coloured top, engraved with the logo. The brush is attached to a black coloured inner cap, which is handy and enables an easy and smooth application. This cap also has Gs engraved. This bottle comes packaged in a black coloured cardboard box. I personally find the packaging very cute and appealing. The packaging can, overall, be termed as travel-friendly.
My Experience with Givenchy Le Vernis Intense Color Nail Lacquer 03 Rose Taffetas:
After a decent break, I went for some nail lacquer shopping. I picked up two shades from Givenchy’s Le Vernis Intense Color Nail Lacquer range. Today, I am sharing my experience about Rose Taffetas 03, a warm dusty rose. I expected this shade to be much lighter, but honestly, it’s a nice shade and I just love it every time I wear it on my nails.
Just one application gives sufficient coverage, however, I personally prefer applying two coats for an opaque finish. This beautiful intense nail lacquer gives a mirror-like shine and a glossy finish to my nails. Its expertly designed brush facilitates easy and smooth application every time.
The brush is a bit wide and flattens during application and spreads to cover the entire surface of the nail in one coat. The brush has a rounded shape/edge, which offers extreme precision during application and prevents unnecessary spreading. I use this shade for special occasions. However, it can also be used for daily wear. It’s a lovely warm dusty rose colour, which can be worn and carried off with many outfits.
I love applying it on my fingernails and toe nails. However, the polish from the tips of my fingernails starts chipping in a day or two. The lasting power is much longer on my toe nails. The glossy shine stays on for a week or so.
