Today’s review will be on the Glamglow Youthcleanse Daily Exfoliating Cleanser.
A daily cleanser that transforms from mud into a foaming lather to gently exfoliate, cleanse, and renew skin to create a more youthful-looking, glowing complexion.
What it is formulated to do:
YOUTHCLEANSE™ is a revolutionary Mud to Foam™ daily cleanser that combines the power of mud and the performance of foam for an innovative cleansing experience. It transforms into a gentle and effective foaming lather that dissolves makeup and impurities while removing dead surface cells. It is formulated with Brazilian superfruits acai, guarana, and acerola to provide potent antioxidants and flaxseed and quinoa, which are rich in omegas 3, 6, and 9 for stronger, healthier-looking skin. French sea clay revitalizes skin, microalgae scrub and phytic acid extreme gently exfoliate, and TEAOXI® green tea leaf delivers EGCG super antioxidants to protect against free radicals—working with ground ginkgo biloba leaf to optimize the skin’s natural renewal process. YOUTHCLEANSE™ helps to maintain the results of your current weekly GLAMGLOW® treatments.
Apply one to two pumps onto fingertips, applying gently over dry face.
- With remaining product left on hands, lightly add water to hands and vigorously rub together to start the foaming lather.
- Apply lather to face and lightly add more water in circular motions to increase foaming lather.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Gently pat dry with towel.
- Use morning and/or night.
French Sea Clay: Supports natural cellular renewal, which revitalizes skin.
- Phytic Acid Extreme: Exfoliating acid that is gentle enough for daily use to restore natural skin radiance.

My Experience with Glamglow Youthcleanse Daily Exfoliating Cleanser:
Glamglow is a very popular skin care brand and they claim that their products (masks) are used by all A-list top celebrities. I myself can attest to the amazing ability and effectiveness of one of their best-selling SuperMud Clearing Treatment. Glamglow has now released their new foaming cleansers which are an extension of their face mask line. I do own Supercleanse and Thirsty cleanse, both of which I love. Read on to know how this particular version stacked up against the other two.
Packaging: This product comes in a big can resembling men’s shaving foam with the same pump dispenser. I find 1.5-2 pumps are sufficient for a single use, hence this 5 oz bottle will last me a long time.
Texture/Consistency: This cleanser is very creamy and smooth and has tiny exfoliating particles in it. The exfoliants are not too harsh or too gritty, neither are they super fine. The particles are of the right size and gritty texture to give my skin a thorough exfoliating cleanse.
I was amazed to see that this cleanser did not dry out my normal-dry skin (that’s the case with the other two cleansers especially the Thirtycleanse). It left my skin feeling smooth, soft and supple and also got rid of any dry patches and dead skin. It left my skin looking visibly radiant after each use.
It did not leave my skin feeling stretchy though it was not particularly hydrating either. I did feel the need to follow up with a moisturizer later. I also noticed a reduction in the unevenness of my skin and acne scars with continuous usage.
It foams up pretty well after you add water to it, but does not produce tons of lather. Though it is gentle on the skin, I would not recommend using this every day. I use it 2-3 times a week at most.
I do not use this solely on its own to remove my makeup at the end of the day as I always start with makeup wipes, but this cleanser does a good job of being the last step in my cleansing routing to get rid of the residue from my face.
Fragrance: It has a very strong herbal scent which is not my favorite out of all the three. I definitely like the coconut scent of Thirsty cleanse more.
Overall, yes this is a fantastic product and if it was not this expensive, I would buy it over and over again. I find that this particular version of Youth cleanse will suit all skin types, from dry to oily, and everything in between whereas Supercleanse is more suitable for oily skin types and those who are suffering from breakouts. Thirsty cleanse is more suitable as a skin refreshing and rejuvenating cleanser. I will recommend this product.

- Did not dry out my skin.
- Gets rid of all the dull and dead skin cells.
