Indian festivals are never complete without glitter. It totally catches the spotlight and enhances every look perfectly. Since I love using bright sparkling glitters I have created this fresh and wearable glittery makeup look. This makeup look is amazing for Diwali and goes well with ethnic outfits. Let’s get started now.
I started with my eye makeup. I applied a transition maroon shadow on my crease to define it well and blended the product smoothly with a round blending brush.
Next, I applied a black shadow on the outer corners as well as on the crease area. I blended it with a light hand and mixed the color with the previous shade.
Next, I used a violet base shade to blend the black shadow and applied it just below the line of black shadow.
After that, I used a concealer to cut my crease area. I drew a line from my inner corner to crease area with a flat brush. I also set that area with some compact powder.
Next, I applied some glitter primer on the middle of my eyelid and then I used a pink eye pigment. I just dabbed the shade on that area and blended the outer harsh lines with a dome brush.
Now with a wet tissue, I cleaned all the fallout and applied concealer on my under eye area and set it well. I also cut my outer corner with that tissue and made it quite sharp. Then, I used the same concealer to correct the line perfectly.
I used the same maroon shadow on the lower lash line and used the black shadow after that. I then blended all the shadows well.
Next, I applied a pink cream shadow on my waterline as well.
I finished with filling my eyebrows in and then applied a light highlighting shade just below my brows. Next, I curled my lashes and applied some mascara.
After finishing my makeup on the upper eyelid, I dusted all the glitter away. After that, I concealed my under eye area and applied my foundation with a blender. Since this is a bold eye makeup look I used a highlighting concealer under my eyes and blended it well with the same sponge.
Next, to set everything, I used a compact powder and blended it smoothly. Next, I used a fresh pink blush on my cheeks and also applied some golden highlighter on the highest parts of my face.
For this look I also used a little brownish pink blush to contour my face. It gave a slightly contoured effect and warmed up my face. Since I applied a lot of powder I sprayed on some face mist and dabbed my makeup to set everything well.
A festive makeup look can never be complete without pretty lips. So, I applied a beautiful pretty pink lipstick on my lips and it totally brightened up the look.
Here is my final look. I paired it with a teal blue dress and also wore a pair of bright traditional earrings. I created light waves in my hair and they looked quite nice with this look. You can even go for straight hair. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. 🙂
