Today, I will be reviewing the most-hyped product from Glossier brand which actually put this brand on radar. This review will be on the Glossier Boy Brow.
Our all-in-one brow fluffer, filler, and shaper. All brow needs have been considered to create THE brow product: one to thicken, fill in, and groom them into place. The creamy wax formula is inspired by traditional hair pomade for soft, flexible hold that doesn’t stiffen or flake. A sheer pigment load gives a natural oomph of color so brows look fuller and more even, and the tiny tapered brush allows for precise application. We’re inspired by healthy, face-framing brows and consider brow grooming the last crucial step before heading out into the world: brush your teeth, brush your brows, and then maybe brush your hair.
My Experience with Glossier Boy Brow:
A little bit about my brows – I have naturally thick brows due to the fact that I have refrained from threading them too thin since the beginning and thankfully, I never lived through the “pencil thin brow” era. Though my eyebrow grooming routine is very minimal (on most days I barely touch them) except for a dash of brow gel to keep the unruly hair in control, I do have a visible scar on one of my eyebrows which I will fill on occasions.
Packaging: This product comes in a tiny white tube which can be very travel friendly. The wand is a tiny spoolie (similar to Benefit Gimme Brow) which helps controlled and precise coating of the brow hair.
Texture and Performance: This product is brow pomade in a tube. I find that this product actually coats the hair of my brows and gives them thickness and an illusion of fullness. I don’t find that this product makes my brow hair too stiff or crusty. They retain their natural appearance but look a bit more groomed. It has decent hold which helps keep my brow hair in shape all day.
Shade and Pigmentation: This product comes in only 3 shades- Blond, Brown, and Black. I have black hair but I went with the shade brown because I wanted my brows to have a softer look and this warm brown shade works for me. The color is buildable with the amount of product you apply but never does it look too harsh. It does not conceal the scar on my brow and for that, I have to fill it with a pencil.
Staying Power: This product stays on my brows all day without flaking. It does not smear even when I have sweated in the summer heat. It is easy to remove at the end of the day with any makeup remover. I do like this more than my previous go-to product – Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel.
Overall, this is a fantastic product. There is nothing I don’t like about it. It gives me perfectly defined, fuller-looking brows with a decent hold at a price I won’t mind repurchasing it again. I will absolutely recommend this brow gel.
