I wore this gold pink look as my Diwali makeup but didn’t get time to post it yesterday. Anyway here is the look. I did this makeup at around 2 in the afternoon and my makeup was intact till 12 am. 🙂
Start with priming your lids. Apply loose powder for easy blending.
Pick up some pale gold shimmer eyeshadow on a flat brush
and pack it on the inner third of the eye.
Now pick shimmer pink colour with the same flat brush
And apply it on the outer third of the eye. This pink would be our base colour. you may go above the crease.
Pick a hot pink matte eye shadow on the tip of the blending brush
Just like so. If your hot pink is not very pigmented, you might have to pick more colour.
Pace the hot pink eye shadow just on the outer socket of your eyes and blend it a inwards, just a little.
Now pick up light purple matte colour with the same brush..
and place it above the hot pink eye shadow.We are just creating dimension. Also keep the purple eye colour very less. You don’t want purple to really show up.
Now pick the gold eye shadow
And apply it all over your brow bone area. Place the brush first just under the arch of your brow. Then move inward and outward. Also blend in any hard edges with the gold highlighter.
Couldn’t complete Diwali makeup with gold glitter. 😛 Just picked up the gold glitter dust on the fluffy brush
and applied it all over the lid.
This is my dried Inglot black liner. i added a drop of Inglot Duraline on it and it was new as ever. 🙂
Line your upper lash line with a black liner.
I wanted to keep the waterline a little soft. So applied brown eye kohl on the waterline.
Now pick up same hot pink eye shadow on a pencil brush
And place it just on the outer corner of your eye. Barely bring the pink all the way in. Sometimes pinks on the lower lashline can make you look ill. So keep the pink eye shadow concentrate mainly on the outer corner.
Put gold eye shadow on the inner corner of the eye.
Curl lashes and apply mascara.
You are done. 🙂
I have used gold highlighter on cheeks
Eye Makeup : Hot pink and purple from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette, Pink and golden from Inglot, Inglot Black gel liner, Inglot Duraline, MAC Painterly Paint Pot, Shu Uemura Lash Curler, MAC Eye Kohl Teddy, Inglot Body Sparkle
Face : Maxfactor Age Renew Foundation Sand, Clinique Fresh Bloom All over, MAC Studio Finish Concealer, NYX Blush Mocha, Lancome L’Absolu Creme De Brilance
Brushes : MAC 217, rest 3 Sigma brushes and Inglot 30 T liner.
