My Experience with the Grace Cole Boutique Wild Fig and Pink Cedar Body Butter:
Since October, I am facing problem with dry itchy skin. I tried moisturizers and body lotions, but were not effective for a longer duration. I constantly felt the need to reapply the lotion, which was irritating. Hence, I was in search of good, budget friendly body butters. Luckily, online sites came to my rescue. 😀
The body butter comes in a baby pink color plastic inverted tube with a black flip cap. The packaging is attractive. It is sturdy and travel friendly. The pink color won my heart when I first saw online.
The body butter is white in color. As it is body butter, the consistency is a bit thick. The cream is non greasy on skin and gets absorbed easily. It gives a smooth finish without being heavy. The staying power, as expected, was pretty good when compared to the body lotions. I usually apply it in the morning before going to work and then again in the evening. A little quantity is enough for the moisturisation.
Now coming to the smell, it has a mild sweet fragrance when you sniff it. But, after application the smell vanishes after 30 minutes. Hence, won’t be a problem for sensitive noses. Overall, I liked the body butter concept from Grace Cole and will like to try other variants from this range.
