My Experience with Grace Cole Boutique Wild Fig and Pink Cedar Radiance Body Scrub:
I have dry skin and I often get under skin hair. So, exfoliation is a necessity for me as it does not let flakes develop over time and keeps the skin soft too. This body scrub comes in a tea rose colored (I used to work in apparels industry) tube packaging with a black colored flip top cap. The packaging is not perfect as it could easily lead to leakage of the product. So, travelling with it could be tricky. But, it looks pretty in my bathroom shelf. Its packaging is eco friendly, and I like knowing that!
The consistency of this scrub is somewhere between thick and runny – it spread really well on the skin even if the skin isn’t damp. Just a little amount of product can exfoliate nicely. It is filled with granules feel a bit harsh against the skin. And, I like harsh scrubs! I just don’t feel satisfied when I use mild scrubs. It exfoliates really well and leaves my skin clean, yet moisturised. It does not feel dry, which makes it a winner for me.
I am not a fan of sweet fragrances, but this one is an exception. I like the sweet, fruity, floral fragrance of this scrub. Even after taking a bath it keeps lingering for a while. I won’t say it smells out of the world, but if you are into sweet fragrances, you’ll love this one.
Overall, a really nice scrub that smells very good, exfoliates as it should and does not dry out my skin. It adds a subtle glow to the skin as the skin becomes clean. Also, since it is a tube packaging, my sister and I have used it and none of us has faced any skin irritation or uneasiness with it. I have dry skin, so I need to follow up with a moisturizer which is okay for me.
