Grace Cole White Rose and Lotus Flower Softening Body Cream – these words define pure pleasure! For say, white rose. I am not the one who generally uses floral concoctions for my day to day bath and body needs. I am more of a fruity, sporty kind of a person. But, this has to be there since the name sounds so exotic. The mere description of the product made me swoon and I had to surrender.

Product Description:
This lightweight Body Cream has been specially formulated to leave skin feeling and looking renewed, younger and energised. Blended with indulgent essential oils to pamper and nourish, this beautiful cream will leave skin delicately scented, healthy looking and glowing.

Packaging:
The cream comes filled in a beautiful pink tube with roses and a sparrow print. A beautiful golden cap just acts as a crown and adds to the beauty of the tube. No leakage. But a bit heavy for travelling. Not a thing which can roam around with you happily sitting in your handbag.

My Experience with Grace Cole White Rose and Lotus Flower Softening Body Cream:

I am bound to say that at times you need to go for something unusual and man, it would give you something great in return. I am a person who has a bucket full of body butters and body lotions. The favourite ones are of course from The Body Shop. I should confess that I have used The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter for a really long time now and the second one to score is Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion. During one of my recent online shopping spree, this came to my sight and I don’t know why, but I bought it! And it did impress me.

Coming to the texture first, it is just like melted butter filled in a tube but not at all greasy or heavy. It is neither thick nor very watery. It is more of an emulsion kind which falls somewhere in between the consistency of a gel and a cream. It smells to me a bit of roses and a bit of some floral powdery fragrance which feels pleasant. Not at heavy to the nose. In fact, it would soothe the senses and give a good to go kind of feeling.

Unfortunately, the fragrance will not even linger for a while until and unless you sniff your skin really hard. No score there! The colour of the cream is more of a pale white with hint of pink to it. It’s translucent. You need not take oodles of the product. A small coin sized amount is enough for both the hands/legs. It gives your skin the right moisture content needed without making it feel heavy, oily or greasy. It can act as an excellent hand cream which gives you the liberty to get back to your things without waiting for the skin to absorb the cream. I love this factor the most!

The effectiveness lasts almost the whole day round. I don’t need to moisturise my skin again and again. I have normal/dry skin and I am someone who remains indoors in air conditioned room for almost 18-20 hours a day. Still, it just works great! Even after 20 hours of application I feel the suppleness in the skin. Yes, it’s a major go getter!

• I don’t think there are any! It just fits the bill and takes care of all your skincare needs

Verdict:
If you like to indulge into something luxurious and want to get that silky, soft feel from your skin, then go for it! Yeah, the price can be a bit of stopper, but who cares!
