Green Ombre Eyeliner Tutorial

Green Ombre Eyeliner Tutorial

Hello Ladies,

It’s been really long since I have written on IMBB and I feel so glad to write here again. I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the weather.

So today, I am here with a tutorial on how to get an Ombre Effect eyeliner. You must have seen the Ombre effect trend when it comes to apparels and manicures and eye makeup too. I had seen a couple of pictures on internet displaying this ombre effect eyeliner and was quite intrigued with the idea. After a couple of attempts and trial and error, I finally got a hang of it, so I thought I should do a tutorial on it.

There is an array of colours to choose from, however, I chose green colour. I have tried purple and blue too and it looks great.

So, let’s go ahead with the tutorial now:

Following are the step-by-step instructions on how to get an Ombre Effect Green Eyeliner:

1. Prime your eyes with an eyeshadow primer.

2. Apply a matte light brown eyeshadow on your eyelid. Select an eye shadow that is close to your skin tone as the idea is just to even out the skin.

3. Next, take a white eyeliner pencil/ gel liner and line 2/3rd of your upper lash line.

4. Now, take black eyeliner pencil/gel liner and line the outer 1/3rd of your upper lash line extending into a wing. (See image no 3)

5. Now to create an ombre effect, we have to select different shades of green (2 or 3 shades) varying gradually from light to dark and apply this in equal parts over the white and black eye liner on the upper lash line.

6. Take the lightest shade of green out of the chosen shades and apply on the innermost 1/3rd part.

7. Next, take a shade darker than the one used in step No. 6 and apply it over the middle 1/3rd area.

8. Now, take the darkest of all the colors and apply it over the outermost 1/3rd area over the black eyeliner.

9. Now, line your waterline with black eye pencil and then smudge it below the lower lash line.

10. Now, extend the black eyeliner below the winged green eyeliner.

And voila you are done 😀 😀

I hope you all like this tutorial and that you would give it a try.
