Grungy Eyes Makeup Tutorial
Hello friends!
I have been doing neutral eye makeup and at the most I use light wearable colors. But the winters are on and the new year is here…so I wanted to do something which I have not done in a while, especially on IMBB. I wanted to do a dirty grungy look on myself and also the purple shade is “in” again. So I decided to do simple look for the year end party. It is easy and requires only a few steps but gives a lovely effect. You can dance the night away with this eye makeup.
1. Things required:
• Smudgy black kohl- Fab India Kajal
• Black eye shadow- L’Oreal
• Dark purple eye shadow- random palette
• Compact- Mac Skin finish natural
• Brown eyeshadow- Inglot
• Pencil brush- Mac 219
• Blending Brush- Mac 217
• Eyelash curler
• Mascara- L’Oreal million lashes
• Eye shader brush- TBS kit
2. Start with clean moisturized eyes
3. Apply kajal on the lid up to the crease. As you know we will blend it so you need not be precise.
4. Pat on some black shadow on the lid with the shader brush. Mine has shimmers but it is fine as am aiming at a late night grungy party look.
5. Now take some dark purple on the blending brush.
6. Sweep on the crease and go beyond the crease; but remember to do so with light hands. We are going slightly beyond the crease because we want the purple to show without hampering the intensity of the black shadow.
7. Apply kohl with heave hands on waterline and tightline.
8. Now take the same dark purple on a pencil brush and apply on the lower lash line. Do not come all the way in.
9. Now apply some compact to the brow bone area. We are not highlighting it because we want the bold dirty look to do the talking. Curl the lashes and apply mascara.
10. Wipe away any fall out with a wet tissue and apply concealer under the eyes.
11. Take some compact and set the concealer.
12. Take some brown eye shadow on a slated brush and define the brows. This will frame the look and give required definition to the eyes.
13. Let your eyes steal the show this New Year!!!
