My Experience with Guerlain Rouge Kiss Kiss Lipstick
I think the only reason I wanted to have this lipstick in my collection is the color. It’s such a fresh shade of red, I coudldn’t resist. It is a gorgeous soft coral red color. It is a very flattering shade for all skin tones.
Let’s begin with the packaging first. It is a gorgeous black gold glossy casing. The cap is in the form of mounted cubes. There is a Guerlain’s ‘G’ embossed on the top. The lipstick casing is with a regular twist up tube. There is a ‘kisskiss’ embossed on the side of the bullet. It’s cute. I adore the packaging. It is luxurious and fuss free.
The texture of the lipstick is soft glossy. The lipstick is creamy and goes on smoothly on lips. It feels a little balm(y) on lips and especially in this wintery season, I looove the texture. Even of dry lips days it makes my lips looks good. It feels hydrating. The lipstick is pretty pigmented and builds up nicely on lips. I wouldn’t call it a bang on pigmented lipstick the way matte lipsticks are. But this does not fall in sheer lipsticks category as well. Think of a very pigmented lip balm- packed with color and moisturising on lips. That said, it is not a replacement for a lip balm. You can also apply it sheerly for that day time natural glow.
The staying power is good 5 hours on me with all eating and drinking. It leave as lovely pink stain behind.
It feels light on lips and does not feel sticky. I find such textures absolutely perfect for winters because they work both as soft glosses and lipsticks on lips. If you are not much of a gloss user, I highly recommend using lipsticks of such balm(y) texture.
This lipsticks did not feather or smudge around the lips.
Highly recommend it. Especially for the color. 🙂

Such perfection. I love the texture – so good for winters. Also the shade is to die for, I love red lipsticks but yet to come across that perfect one for my skin tone. Guerlain definitely deserves all the love and hype. Please tell me nail paint shade. 😀

It’s a gorgeous color and you looking fab! I’ve had this shade for close to 3months and haven’t tried it yet….alarming, no? But that always happens with reds n me. I want to keep a new red for a special occasion and when there is a special occasion, I don’t want to experiment with something new!! I currently have 3 new reds in my stash – yet to be tried! But I’m definitely trying this one today!
