H & G Hibiscus Under Eye Cream Review

H&G Naturals Restore Hibiscus Under eye cream review with EOTD

In my lookout for the Aroma Magic under eye cream in Health & Glow around 2 months back, I found this under eye cream and its variants stacked in a busy corner there and reading the details on it and not finding the Aroma magic one, it did not take much time for me to grab this one.
According to the company: Hibiscus delicately softens and relieves dark circles, stimulates collagen and reduces the lines and puffiness.

H & G Naturals Restore Hibiscus Under eye cream Review
To Use: Apply a small amount onto tip of your finger and gently dab in an outward motion along the cheek bone and eyebrow bone.

Key Ingredients: Water, Allantoin, Glycerine, vitamin E, Sesame oil, Apricot oil, Ashwagandha extract, Hibiscus Extract.

Price: 109/- for 50ml.

Shelf Life: 24 months

My take on the product: I have been using this under eye cream from the last 2 months roughly. Earlier I used to apply it twice daily but later either forgot to apply it or got the time to use it only during the nights. So I think I have been using it religiously from atleast 45 days or more. It works on a decent level. I would not say that I have seen miraculous results within a week or so after using it but yes, it has worked on my dark circles and I could see them lightened out to some extent after a month’s use.

Texture: The crème is baby pink in color and is very light in texture. Consistency is just like a normal cream but being light it spreads and gets absorbed in the sensitive under eye area with minimum effort in seconds.

Packaging: It comes in a sturdy and light weight plastic encasing with an outer screw cap and also has an inner plastic lid which makes the packaging spill proof. The top has the red colored sticker which depicts the name and company information about the product. On the side also one can see a label clearly indicating the use, ingredients, price, quantity and manufacturing information about this crème.

Fragrance: The crème had a mild yet nice flowery scent, somewhat like Hibiscus itself which stays on for an hour easily. 😛

Quantity: I think 50ml quantity of this crème is a lot supplied at a price of just 109/- which is lesser than almost all of its competitors and it would easily last for 2 yrs or so with me even if I use it daily. So it is a good bargain at the price.

I apply this crème as directed. I take a very small amount of it on my index finger and apply it below my eye and then using 1 or 2 fingers gently massage it in an outward manner in circles taking the crème up to the brow bone. It gets fully absorbed within seconds leaving a somewhat shiny yet not sticky feel and look, which also gets subdued in minutes. I usually apply it in the night so I let it work on the whole night. The next morning, there is no sign of any crème or stickiness just my eyes but a better and refreshed look. So its non sticky nature also allows it to be easily used during the day too under your base makeup. :haanji

Rest I have not seen any kind of irritation after using this crème. Infact it gives a nice cooling feel when applied which stays on for some time. Well, it has worked fine for my average dark eye circles and reduces puffiness also as I tend to sleep late at night and also gets disturbed night’s sleep (coz of my 8 month old) yet get to see a refreshing look in the morning.

For reference, I did click my snap to see the before and after result which I am attaching now so that you people and I myself can judge the effects. I can see some clear results as a much toned skin with lighter under eye circles. Hope you can also see some changes in both the snaps.

Good points about the H&G Hibiscus under eye cream:

• Works well for my dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.
• Light texture.
• Gets absorbed with minimum effort.
• Mild yet lovely scent associated with the cream.
• A pinch utilized at one go so this product is going to last you for years.
• A lot of quantity offered at a cheaper price.
• Gives a non sticky finish.
• Gives a nice soothing effect on applying.
• Can be used in the day also and the little shine it offers for some time can be easily handled using your compact or loose powder.
• Comes in 2 more variants. One who do not face the under eye problem can check the mint variant (I forgot the name), that’s only for providing a cooling sensation to your tired or dull eyes.

Not so good points about the crème:

• Tub style packaging makes it unhygienic but I wash my hands first then only apply this crème.
• Not a con but still one has to be a little patient using under eye creams as miracles do not happen overnight and wait atleast for a month before checking the results.

Rest I do not find a basic flaw in this under eye crème as it is working fine for me. I’ll continue using it as a lot is still left and as I don’t find harm in using it till the time it is working on my fine lines and reducing the puffiness even.

Ratings: 3.5/5 (a decent rating for me).

Recommend: Yes. If it has worked for me then ladies who are suffering from very dark under eye circles can also give it a shot and can check the results themselves. Repurchase has to wait long as this one will last me for 2 years until either it finishes or expires.
