H20 Plus Sea Pure Hydrating Lotion with SPF 20 Review

Hey Girls!!

I recently bought a lot of products from the H2O Plus brand and one of them is the “Sea Pure Hydrating Lotion with SPF 20.”

Product Description:

This daily weightless moisturizer with broad spectrum protection helps visibly repair and prevents signs of ageing while boosting skin’s cellular renewal cycle.

• Scientifically formulated with cell-renewing amino acids to minimize the look of fine lines and stimulate healthy cell growth.
• Water rich Atlantic sea flora combines with emollient coconut and jojoba seed extracts to visibly smooth and maintain soft supple skin.
• Nonchemical, broad spectrum uva/uvb protection shields from sun damage.
• Gentle enough for all skin types.

This product is 97% natural, 100% vegan and biodegradable and does not contain synthetic fragrances, paraben, petro chemicals, phthalates, and sulfates and cruelty free/against animal testing.

Price:

Rs. 2000/- for 50.  I bought it during sale for Rs. 1400/-  It comes in a pump dispenser with a transparent cap as seen in the picture above.  It also comes with a leaflet inside.

Ingredients:

Aqua, coconut oil,glycerine,caprylic/capric trigleseride,hydrogenated vegetable oil, jojoba seed oil,cetearyl olivate,cetearyl alcohol,limonene ,sorbitan olivate,sodium cocyl amino acids,benzyl alcohol,phenoxyethanol,polyglecyerl-3 disosstearate,cetearyl glucoside,xanthum gum,entoromorpha compressa extract,chlorphenesin,potassium hydroxide, orange oil,tocopherol,caealpinia spinosa gum,graperfruit peel oil, pelargonium graveolens flower oil, lemon peel oil, rosemary oil, juniper oil, lime oil.

I was so excited to use this product with all nice things, but it was the worst ever product from H2O Plus!!! It was so disappointing because it gave me a whitish cast plus after using it for 1 week, it broke me out like crazy!!! I then gave it to my mom who has super dry skin, who really liked it.  They also have a cream form of the same moisturizer.  If the lotion did this, thank God, I didn’t order the cream!

Pros of H20 Plus Sea Pure Hydrating Lotion with SPF 20:

• Is 97% natural and free from all those dreaded chemicals.
• Its a superb lotion for ladies with dry skin and can be used even during summers (my mom has dry skin and she used it all through February and now in March).
• You need very little product each time you use it.
• It has a pleasant citrusy smell, nothing over the top.

Cons of H20 Plus Sea Pure Hydrating Lotion with SPF 20:

• It’s not for girls with oily skin nor for the ones with combination skin! Please stay away if you fall in the above two skin types!!
• It felt greasy and shiny!! On the hand, it shined only a little, but on the face, it was a different story as it took almost 15 minutes for it to sink in (97% natural and not for me, I am sad!! )
• It’s very pricey at Rs. 2000 for 50 ml.

Do I Recommend H20 Plus Sea Pure Hydrating Lotion with SPF 20?

Well, yes for gals with dry skin and a big no for other skin types.  I will buy it for my mom again when it goes on sale. Anyway, my hunt for a near-natural moisturizer for my skin type still goes on.  Until next review.
