Today, I am reviewing a product which has been around in my vanity for some time now. I was using it for a while earlier and it again found my love when the winter months started. Read on to find out more about the H2O+ Spa Sea Salt Hydrating Body Lotion.
$7 for 60 ml.
Triple Tea Complex: A proprietary blend of powerful antioxidant agents: Japanese Green Tea, Paraguay Tea and Gotu Kola, an ancient Chinese medicinal herb. Triple Tea Complex helps shield skin from aging environmental elements while soothing irritation and reducing redness, blotchiness and irritation.
Hydrating Marine Blend: A triple-powered synthesis of marine botanicals that optimizes skin’s moisture balance while bolstering free radical resistance.
Wakame: Brown kelp fronds harvested from the Sea of Japan; energizes skin’s natural functions and recharges tone
Sea Lettuce: Dewy yellow-green leaves cultivated from the coast of Brittany, France; supports skin-firming collagen and elastin
Fennel: Waxy green ribbons abundant along rocky English sea cliffs; empowers skin to resist aging environmental damage.
Apply daily to cleansed skin.
My Experience with H2O+ Spa Sea Salt Hydrating Body Lotion:
Packaging: The body lotion comes in a sturdy plastic tube with a screw on cap. The cap shuts tight and there is no danger of the product leaking. The packaging is quite handy and travel friendly. I love the greenish brown packaging of the H2O+ Spa range; it looks very classy and spa-like.
Texture and Performance: The body lotion has a medium thick consistency and is not runny. It spreads easily on the skin and also gets absorbed easily. It moisturizes well and does not leave the skin greasy or sticky. Though it provides good hydration, I feel that those with extremely dry skin will not benefit as much. There is also a body cream from this range and dry-skinned people will be better off using that.
The lotion claims to contain some pretty exotic ingredients like Wakame, Sea Lettuce and Fennel which are supposed to support skin firming and reduce aging, but I cannot really vouch for such effects on my skin as yet.
Fragrance: The cream has a pleasant mild fragrance which probably comes from all those marine ingredients which it contains. It feels very spa-like for the time that it lasts. However, it fades away pretty soon.
Pros of H2O+ Spa Sea Salt Hydrating Body Lotion:
- Moisturizes skin pretty well.
- Non-greasy texture.
- Pleasant spa-like fragrance.
- Sturdy packaging.
Cons of H2O+ Spa Sea Salt Hydrating Body Lotion:
- Might not be suitable for extremely dry skin.
- Fragrance does not last too long.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend H2O+ Spa Sea Salt Hydrating Body Lotion?
I would recommend this body lotion to those with oily to normal skin. I would not repurchase it as I like to try out newer lotions.
