Hi gorgeous girls,
I am probably writing here after 7 long months. I know I know it’s a really long time… But trust me girls I was following IMBB like always. ..  reading all the reviews, Rati Di’s trips and every other detail. So I am back with a review and it is a shower and bath gel. This is my first shower gel from this brand. I was bored of regular gels and wanted to try a premium shower gel, so I brought this one home. The other member of this family i.e., H2O Sweet Berry Moisturizing Body Balm has already been reviewed on IMBB. So let’s quickly jump to the review.

My experience with H2O Sweet Berry Shower and Bath Gel

As I told you this is my first shower gel from H2O, I had high expectations. As soon as I sniffed it after purchasing, it reminded me of jelly toffees, you know the soft ones which are packed in a transparent cover. The smell was too sweet for me. I like floral or citrus fragrances but this candy smell was simply too sweet. The consistency of the wash is in gel form and a bit sticky. The gel is transparent in colour with a tint of Pink. I have not used any sticky gel body wash like this one before and didn’t like this one honestly. Being sticky in nature it takes time to rinse off, but once rinsed off, removes body squeaky clean. Also, it does not lather much hence a lot of product is needed on loofah. It did not make my skin dry, although I followed this up with my regular body lotion. Thankfully, the smell didn’t last long and I could not feel it on myself. But for people who love sweet smells this would be a con, as we like body washes/shower gels with long lasting fragrance. The packaging is transparent and bulky thus making it a little difficult to carry. I mean, it is not travel-friendly and I think I would carry my other body washes on diwali vacations. Also it contains parabens (methyl and propyl) so the chances are slim, of me buying this again (IMBB has made me ingredient-conscious). It has a white flip to open cap which is tight enough making it leak-proof.

Positives for H2O Sweet Berry Shower and Bath Gel

• Leaves skin squeaky clean
• Doesn’t make skin dry
• Contains few natural ingredients like orange peel, citrus peel

Negatives for HH2O Sweet Berry Shower and Bath Gel:

• Very sweet smell, so not as per my personal fragrance liking
• Very bulky packaging, not travel-friendly
• Sticky gel consistency makes it difficult to rinse
• Price on the higher side
• Contains parabens

Will I recommend or repurchase H2O Sweet Berry Shower and Bath Gel?
No, I will not repurchase it. And people who like sweet candy smell can try it but beware of the sticky consistency.
