Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint Review

Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint Review

Hey Pretty Ones!

Its been almost a month since my first review on IMBB and since it was on a shampoo (Nyle Naturals Damage Repair Shampoo), I thought it’s time again, I did a review on a different one.  If you have read the earlier review, you will know that I had mentioned “Habib’s shampoo” as my favourite, and you will get to know why I said that in this review. There are many variants of Habib’s shampoos, but the one I am crazy about is the lemon and mint version for oily hair.

Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint Review

I used to have thick, healthy and glossy hair right from childhood, but after prolonged stay in the hostel, my hair lost all those traits.  It is limp, oily, and thin now :’( I am always on the lookout for a shampoo which will add some bounce to my hair and wash away the excess oil. I came across this shampoo a year ago and have been using it religiously since then (it was out of stock last month and so I had to but the Nyle one).

Price:

Rs. 110 for 200 ml.

Product Description:

Tulsi has antiseptic properties and lemon does wonders for oily hair, we all know that and about the “exotic herbs” thing? I am not sure what they meant by that!

Packaging:

It comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a flip top cap. It comes sealed with the Habib’s logo sticker. I find it really travel friendly and it has never let me down during any of my travels back home or vice versa.

Color/Texture/Fragrance:

The shampoo is of pale green color, its translucent.  The fragrance is not overpowering and smells mainly of mint with citrusy undertones. It gives a very fresh feeling when used on hair.

My Experience with Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint:

I am totally in love with this shampoo! Though, it can be a bit drying if used without a conditioner, but it really gives that bounce and gloss to hair which it claims to. Hair remains oil free for 3 days after wash.

There is a squeaky clean feel after each wash, but girls with dry hair and normal hair should avoid it. They can try the other versions from this range meant especially for dry and normal hair. Since it is specifically mentioned “for oily hair,” I would not count it as a con.

Finally, this is how my hair looks after air drying right after using this shampoo.  Now, you know why I am head-over-heels in love with this shampoo :*

Shiny Hair

Pros of Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint:

  • Not tested on animals.
  • True to its claims, gives body and bounce to the hair.
  • Only a little amount is needed for each wash.
  • Washing hair after every 3 days is sufficient.
  • Inexpensive.

Cons of Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint:

  • Ingredients are not fully mentioned. What exotic herbs are they talking about?
  • Can be drying if used without conditioner.

Other than these, I cannot find any cons.

Will I Repurchase Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint?

Yes, obviously.

Do I Recommend Habibs Shampoo with Lemon and Mint?

Yes, to all those who have hair like me.

IMBB Rating:

4.95/5! :*:*

Tata ladies! Until next time, keep smiling, keep glowing.
