Mamta P. asks:
Hi everyone,
My name is Mamta and I am 34 years old. I have very sensitive skin and my hair is very thin and falling. My hair is also graying. For nearly 10 years, I have used heena to cover my gray hair, but now my hair is looking red and like copper thread. Having sensitive skin, I am afraid to use hair color as it might further increase hair fall. Please suggest me a hair color for sensitive skin which is also economical.

hi mamta, its hard to find a color that’s mild on hair,at least in india, but you can try loreal casting creme gloss but thats not permanent..it washes away ..hope this helps
Hi Mamta, you can try loreal excellence creme, but a patch test is mandatory since you have sensitive skin. You can also try indigo powder which is herbal, but you need to read up on what color it gives and how to use such a powder.
Loreal Casting Creme gloss is really good . It is not natural of course but best suited for sensitive skin . My mom uses it and she has very sensitive skin but this hair color did not cause any problems.. hope that helps.. 🙂
Loreal casting creme gloss is quite good 🙂
Hey Mamta, i have faced grey hair problem since childhood. I used henna but it dried out my hair for all these years. I first coloured my hair with Majerial( from Loreal) at enrich salon(bangalore) when i was 21. For 1 yr I used to go to salon for touchups. Bt later realized tht i can do it myself. So i chose loreal casting creme(no ammonia in dark chocolate color). fr the past 2 yrs, i hv been doing a global color wid it evry 2 mnths. Its jus awesum. Infact I hvnot done a patch test when i initially applied it and it worked wonders. I feel my hair bcame healthy, soft n silky evrytym i use it. Alternatively u can try Loreal INOA, tht has no ammonia but lil expensive than othr loreal hair colors. But u can find INOA, majerial hair colors in salons only:(
Also whn u color ur hair fr the first tym, u may not gt the exact color on ur hair, as ur hair is henna-ed for so long. U need to pre lighten the henna color first. So possibly aftr 2 continuos uses of loreal casting creme u can get rid of tht henna color and get a glossy new luk to ur hair. Bt plz do a patch test as u r saying tht ur skin is sensitive. And choose gud color- if u wan a jet black, u can try ebony. If u want grey coverage with gud natural color- u can try – sonam kapoor’s dark chocolate(same as mine:D). Gud luck:)
I tried loreal excellence also but i found casting creme to b btr 🙂 hope this helps
I use INoa . You can give that a try. For touch up it may cost you around Rs.1095/- in salons.
