Hard Candy Cheeky Tints Surfer Babe Sheer Blush Gels Review

I am back with one more blush review and this time, I am reviewing the recently-launched Hard Candy Cheeky Tints Sheer Blush Gels. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Surfer Babe” for you all. Not all Hard Candy products have been a hit with me, but typically they are priced quite low, so I don’t mind much if a formula is not so good. Read on to find out in which category these blushes fall.

Product Description:
A water light gel blush that has all day staying power. Incredibly easy to blend, mistake-proof formula, gives a sheer wash of color for a truly natural flush.

Directions To Use:
Apply to cheeks using fingertips.

My Experience with Hard Candy Cheeky Tints Surfer Babe Sheer Blush Gels:

Packaging: The blush comes in a cute little coral pink tube packaging which matches the shade of the actual blush. It has a flip top cap which shuts quite tightly and hence there is no danger of the cap coming off accidentally. The top has a tiny hole to dispense the product.

The tube is quite small, but honestly. you only need a very tiny amount of the product and hence it should last for a while. The packaging is attractive as well as sturdy.

Color and Pigmentation:  “Surfer Babe” is a gorgeous coral red shade. It looks a bit dark out of the tube, but sheers out after blending into a beautiful reddish stain. I love how this stain looks on me and the best part is that you can control the intensity of the stain by layering (or not).

Texture/Finish/Lasting Power:  The blush has a lightweight gel-like texture – it is not too runny nor is it creamy and thick. It blends quite easily and without much effort.  Since this is a stain, it sheers out quite well. And you are left with a lovely color on your skin which looks like a natural flush.

Of course, you need to be careful with the amount you are applying since it is difficult to undo any mistake. The best approach is to start with a tiny dot and build upon it if needed.

You can apply it with fingers or use a brush. I prefer applying it with fingers as I am worried that a brush might leave streaks. The downside of using fingers is that it leaves me with stained fingers for the rest of the day.

The color is long lasting and stays on for almost the whole day.

I would definitely recommend you to try out this blush as it has a pretty good formula. I will not repurchase the exact shade but I do have a few more shades from this range.
