Hard Candy Cheeky Tints – You Are a Doll Review

Hi lovely readers!!!
On my recent trip to Walmart, I saw a lot of newly launched products by Hard Candy and was tempted to try of some of them. I have mixed feelings about this blush because not all the products by this brand that I have bought in the past have performed satisfactorily and some of them did let me down. Fortunately, the product in this post is not one of those disappointments.

My Take on Hard Candy Cheeky Tints – You Are a Doll:

Packaging: The product comes in a pink plastic tube which is about the size of my index finger. It has a black flip cap to cover a tiny hole which dispenses a pea-sized product. The packaging is compact. The packaging is attractive and is one of the reasons why my eyes fell on it first.

Texture: It feels like a gel-based moisturizer. The gel texture makes it very easy to spread and blend on the skin.

Color: Pink color appears very strong before the product is spread on skin, but after spreading it leaves a very faint pink color which is barely noticeable in one application. When it is spread on the cheeks it does appear shiny for a few seconds but soon it dries down. The intensity can be easily built up with little more quantity till desired color is achieved.

Pigmentation: Just one tiny drop of this gel blush gives a faint color to cheeks and a little more blush can be added to add more color to cheeks.

Application and wear time: I use it just like I use a moisturizer or a primer – I apply it with my fingers tips with minimal pressure and spread it evenly on cheeks. It is very easy to apply and one does not need any kind of brush or sponge to apply it. It stays for 8 to 9 hours and maybe more and stays put during the entire duration I wear it. One can increase the wear time if one uses primer or layers it with a powder blush.
