Hard Candy Heat Wave So Baked Bronzer Review

Price:
8 dollars

ingredients

Packaging:
The packaging is quite good and sturdy. You get good quantity of the product in just 8 dollars. It is a travel friendly product for sure.

Texture:
The texture of this bronzer is not really the best. It is a little rough when you swatch it but once you layer it on top of the foundation, it feels fine.

Pigmentation:
Like the texture, the pigmentation is not too much but that is okay otherwise anyone can go a little va va voom with highly pigmented bronzers. I like that the pigmentation is just so-so.

My Experience with Hard Candy Heat Wave So Baked Bronzer:

packaging

First and foremost, this is clearly not a bronzer. The bronzer has golden glitter particles in it which make it look more like a highlighter than a bronzer. You cannot contour with this at all; you shouldn’t even put it on your forehead. I just like using it on my cheeks and on the bridge of my nose. It is a shimmery bronzer and a subtle highlight. This is a great highlight for a no-makeup look because it is not too flashy. The colour suits my medium to deep skin tone just right. I love the golden terracotta colour of this product.

texture

If you have medium or deep skin tone, you need to grab this product just for the colour. It does accentuate the skin texture if you go overboard with it, otherwise it doesn’t make those tiny little bumps on the skin noticeable. Also, it stayed for quite a long time on my face, the colour had faded after 4 hours but I could still see a little golden glitter on my cheeks, which somehow looks incredible. It is easy to work with and not chunky at all.

swatch

You can use this bronzer as a blush topper too as it does have peach undertones, else you can use this as an eye shadow too. There are no rules in makeup! Nonetheless, I am pretty happy with my purchase. This is not a bronzer or highlighter that needs to be in your vanity, but if you want something subtle for your medium skin tone, then this works amazing!

Cons of Hard Candy Heat Wave So Baked Bronzer:
