Today, I am going to review Head & Shoulders new product “Pyrithione Zinc Ocean Lift 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo+Conditioner”… Usually, I am not a big fan of Head & Shoulders Shampoo series, as they make my hair even more dry and flaky. I picked it up for they mentioned “sea minerals.

What Head & Shoulders Pyrithione Zinc Ocean Lift 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo+Conditioner  claims:

Ocean Lift Shampoo, Conditioner and 2-in-1, with a sea mineral essence has following qualities:

• It helps in Invigorating hair and scalp.
• Cleanses your hair and scalp with an uplifting scent.
• Its gentle even on color treated or permed hair.
• Advanced formula relieves scalp itch, dryness, irritation and helps prevent flakes while improving hair and scalp health. (associated with dandruff).
• Dual action formula cleans while providing extra conditioners for hair.

My Experience with Head & Shoulders Pyrithione Zinc Ocean Lift 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo+Conditioner:

No doubt bottle looks attractive and cool. Sea minerals essence was an added bonus for trying it, rest everything looks same as other Head & Shoulders Shampoos. Its as usual flip-cap bottle, but the fragrance is awesome. When you apply it,  it smells like hair spa treatment! Other than that, I was not much impressed by this product. The reason might be that I usually look for anti dandruff and silky shining hair at one go. It does removes dry flakes and oil traces from hair but still I miss that sleek and shine effect on my hair after wash. It just cleanses hair and up to some extent, conditions it too but may be my hair are too frizzy and hence its not a good choice for me. I just picked it up for its sea minerals essence.

Pros of Head & Shoulders Pyrithione Zinc Ocean Lift 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo+Conditioner :

• Gentle even on permed or color treated hair and PH balanced.
• Smells awesome.
• It serves both purpose anti dandruff shampoo as well as conditioner.
• Contains pyrithione zinc as an active ingredient for anti-dandruff.
• Contains Sea minerals essence.

Cons Head & Shoulders Pyrithione Zinc Ocean Lift 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo+Conditioner :

• Doubtful about its availability in India.
• Not upto the mark for very dry frizzy hair.

Verdict :

I may conclude by saying that its an average product for the ones who have very dry frizzy hair. Beauties who are already blessed with shiny hair but dandruff or dry flakes will find it awesome as they won’t crave for sleek, shiny hair. Over all, I won’t buy it again though its good product, but I am happy with my earlier “Garnier shampoo”.
