Helena Rubinstein Thick Volume Curls Mascara Review
A few months back, I was at my parents place, carrying no makeup and suddenly I needed some basic! My elder sister’s makeup kitty was the rescue source, in which I found this mascara. I liked it so much that I asked her to let me have this and she gladly did; as I often bring her cosmetics. It was nicely packed in a cardboard box, but I had never heard of Helena Rubinstein, neither did I read about it; I just saw the big HR on the product and threw away the box while packing, thinking it might be some Thai product.

About my lashes:
They are not the prettiest ones, they were a few years back, but they are long, voluminous and curled.
My Experience with Helena Rubinstein Thick Volume Curls Mascara:
The mascara bottle is round, about 4-4.5” long and chocolate brown with golden labels. The cap is different; it has three sculpture of fairies 😛 The brush handle is long, the brush elaborated in design, both making application easier. The color of the mascara is somewhat between black and very dark brown, I have never sorted that out because it’s not jet black or pure brown.
The consistency is not runny to make it a mess, nor thick to make the application a tough chore. The consistency was very perfect initially, but now it has just started to dry out. The shelf life wasn’t mentioned on the pack and it’s been a year I have this.
Coming to the performance, what I see for in mascara is not clumping! And this one doesn’t clump your lashes no matter what. I haven’t observed any significant lengthening of lashes but this definitely adds volume and curls to lashes. 2-3 coats are perfect for getting thick and nicely curled lashes.
I love the brush; it is designed in such way that it defines each and every lash with precision; just there is a little trouble reaching out to the inner corner of the eye. It has a mild, sweet fragrance. The mascara is waterproof (though not mentioned anywhere), but comes off with any facial cleanser.

If I found this one easily in my approach, I will definitely buy but I am not going to make special arrangements to get it from anywhere. Same applies on recommendation.
