Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist Review

Hello everyone,

Recently, I hauled a bunch of skin care product from Herbivore, which is a fairly new brand from Sephora. It claims to be mostly natural, which is what drew me to the brand. I have had quite good luck with all the products I own from this brand and would surely love to get more. This review will be on the Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist.

My Experience with Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist:

Packaging:  This mist comes in a regular clear spray bottle. The nozzle delivers a fine mist and I have had no problem with it getting clogged up, leaking or squirting out excess liquid. The issue with a mist like this one is that I never know when to stop, especially in these hot summers, I find facial mists to be incredibly refreshing and I tend to drench myself in it. Hence, I go through such bottles quickly. Even though a good amount is provided in this bottle, I am almost halfway done in a matter of a few weeks of regular use, which for the high price, makes it an expensive treat.

Usage/Results:  I use this mist as a toner after cleansing and also to refresh my skin through the day. I have dry skin hence using a toner is not a must for me and this product is more of an extra step in my routine. When I use this spray, my skin does feel stretchy as it dries, but not the kind which makes your skin uncomfortable, but one that makes your skin feel firm. It dries fairly quickly on the skin and it does help hydrate and refresh my skin to some extent. It does not leave any greasy/sticky residue behind, just slightly dewy and supple skin. It gives a boost of hydration to the skin. I have not used this product over my makeup as I rely on my favorite setting spray to keep my makeup from smearing.

Fragrance:  It does have a very refreshing scent which is slightly floral with just hints of coconut and rose. The rose scent of this is more subdued than of pure rose water.

Overall, this is a great product which I enjoy using a whole lot, but for the price and the rate at which I am going through this, I don’t think I will be repurchasing this product. I do get similar results with just using a regular rose water in a spray bottle which comes at a fraction of the cost of this Herbivore rose mist.

Pros of Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist:

  • Refreshing.
  • Aesthetically pleasing simple bottle.
  • Nozzle delivers fine mist.
  • Gives toning benefits.
  • Gives a boost of hydration to the skin.
  • Addictive.
  • No greasy residue.

Cons of Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist:

  • I do go through this very fast hence it is not very economical for the price.
