Hikari Tango Blush Review

Hi girls!

How is everyone in the IMBB family? I am having sleepless nights as my little one is giving me a tough time, so have not been able to comment on any of the articles. After quite a long time, I am back with a makeup product’s review and that is a blush. Blushes are my obsession after lip products. Today’s product is Hikari Blush in the shade Tango. Hikari cosmetics is new to me, but when you write for IMBB, you have a chance to try out new stuff for reviews. IMBB has emerged as such a wide platform that now finding products that can be reviewed has became difficult. Anyway, I will continue my blabbering later. Let’s see if this blush is worth a pick or not.

My Experience with Hikari Tango Blush:

Packaging:
The blush comes in a black cardboard box. Inside, is a sturdy square packaging that houses the blush with a transparent cover. There is no mirror or applicator, which I had expected at this price tag at least. Overall, it has a nice packaging and looks appealing. It is travel safe too.

Texture and Finish:
The texture is finely milled as the ingredient list includes talc as the main ingredient. It’s soft and smooth, yet very well compacted. Thus, there are no fallout issues as well. It carries a matte finish; no shimmery particles at all.

Colour and Pigmentation:
This is such a summery shade. Though I tried my best, it looks hot pink in images. In reality, it is a pink with a hint of coral and carries a matte finish. The pigmentation is really good and one swipe is enough for perfect color payoff. So, keep a light hand on the brush for the first time so that you don’t go overboard. The shade isn’t chalky at all. With superb blending, it gives even flush without any streaks.

Longevity and Transferability:
The blush has a good wear time. It stays on easily for 6 hours on an average. It has some minor transferability issues, but nothing too bothersome. It doesn’t accentuate pores or dry patches, and doesn’t cause breakouts.

  1. Blushes are my favorites too, after lipsticks and I absolutely love light pink ones for the natural flush of color they impart. Packaging is classy, why didn’t they include a mirror! :/
