Scrub is one of the most indispensable products of the skin care routine, agree? I have usually used Kaya scrub and few khadi scrubs. This time I thought of buying something from Himalaya after seeing great results from Himalaya Neem scrub. But sadly Himalaya neem scrub\ was out of stock. So I thought of buying Himalaya Clear complexion whitening Face scrub. I have used a variety of scrubs and do not stick to a certain type, since I love experimenting with my scrubs and face washes. Today let’s start with the review!
A complexion enhancing scrub with mild Exfoliants that brings out your natural fairness and reveals glowing skin. Licorice and White Dammer help regulate melanin synthesis while Apricot granules gently scrub away dead skin cells, blackheads and deeply embedded impurities. The result is visibly brighter, soft and glowing skin.
Licorice (Mulethi), White Dammer (Kahruba) and Apricot (Khoobani
125Rs for 100gm
The Himalaya Herbals Scrub comes in a flip cap tube. The tube packaging makes it handy and ensures non-messy usage of the scrub.
Directions for use:
Gently massage with fingertips in a circular motion over damp face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Wash off and pat dry. Use 2-3 times a week for healthy, glowing skin. For best results, cleanse regularly with Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash and follow with Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream.
My experience with Himalaya Clear complexion whitening Face scrub:
I would categorize the Himalaya Clear complexion whitening Face Scrub as an average product. Personally I feel the scrub is light and does not leave any residue on the skin. The oily texture leaves skin moisturized post exfoliation. The scrub is creamy and doesn’t dry out my skin at all. The little beads don’t feel too sharp or rough on my skin, and I find that it exfoliates my skin very well. The face scrub is a white scrub with minuscule scrub grains. The Apricot granules exfoliate gently while the Licorice and White Dammer help in regulating melanin synthesis. As far the whitening is concerned, it really didn’t help in making my look radiant temporarily right after using it. So I would say this claim is false from Himalya. It’s also appropriate for those with dry skin beauties as it leaves skin hydrated.
Pros of Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub:
• It is very affordable.
• the packing of the scrub is good enough, not like Khadi and other tub scrubs.
• It’s handy; you can carry it along anywhere. No leakage.
• It is herbal.
• It doesn’t make my skin dry, or stretchy. This is the best thing about this scrub.
• It didn’t cause any breakouts or rashes. It will suit almost all skin types, be it dry or combination
• It’s a mild scrub. Not at all harsh on the skin but I would say acne skin people should avoid this product as beads are not very light and acne can be exaggerated.
Cons of Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub:
• It does nothing related to fair complexion. Product claims are untrue.
• It has nothing special in it. Just an ordinary product.
• Not suitable for acne and pimple prone skin.
• Not suitable for very oily skin
I would rate this 3/5
Will I recommend this product or repurchase Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub?
No I am not going to repurchase it as it has nothing extraordinary. I have bought another face scrub from Vichy and I am comfortable with that. If you want to go for budget buys then can also explore Himalya neem scrub which is a very good product.
