I am back with another review which is from one of my favourite skin care brands ever in India. I am a fan of Himalaya Herbals products because till date, they have never harmed my skin in any way. Recently when I was at the drugstore, I spotted this beauty sitting in the new skin care section and thought I should give this a try. I have been using it from the past 5 days and I kind of like it so far. If you want to know my experience and thoughts about this product, then continue reading.
Price: 130 INR only!
Key ingredients – Walnut shell granules, apple and wheat germ oil.
In actives: Methylparanebn IP, Propylparaben IP and Phenoxyethanol IP.
This gentle scrub is fortified with Walnut granules that gently exfoliate dead skin cells and blackheads while Apple, rich in natural antioxidants, helps stimulate cell renewal, giving you soft and younger looking skin.
The pack also says that this scrub has natural antioxidants which is another reason this product captivated me.
Directions for Use:
Gently massage this scrub with fingertips in a circular motion over damp face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Wash off and pat dry. Use it 2-3 times a week for health and glowing skin.
My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Walnut Scrub:
I am a fan of this brand because they use amazing ingredients in every product and their formula always pleases me. I have crazy blackheads on my nose which will just never go away. Due to the pollution, they somehow come back even after I try a lot. From the past 5 days, I have been noticing that they are not completely gone but they are looking less than earlier. I love that this scrub is not too rough on the skin and it gives a fresh, fair feel post using.
The only thing that annoyed me the most is the fragrance. I hate the way it smells. I have a blocked nose so thankfully I can bare the smell but otherwise I just hate it so much. I wish they would do something about that. It is a heavy scrub and a little greasy when you apply it to the skin. But once you wash it off completely, you will notice your face looking radiant. Do not skip a moisturizer post using this because it does have a little drying property to it. I don’t know what is in this that kind of makes my skin a little dry post using it but I always put on a moisturizer after a while.
Also, if you suffer from blackheads problem like me, once you have used a good scrub like this, wash your face well and run ice over the blackheads area so that the pores close up quickly. You do not want the blackheads to multiply. Overall, I am enjoying this scrub and it is gradually working on my blackheads. I am going to continue using this because it is a good product! Do pick this up the next time you are at a drugstore!
