Himalaya Herbals Protecting Body Lotion-Review
Hello Gals,
Today, I will review everyday product, a “Body Lotion”. I generally use Vaseline Body Lotions. This time, I thought of trying Himalaya Herbals Protecting Body Lotion. Since Himalaya products are generally quite good, I could easily take a chance.
Product Description:
A daily-use, non-greasy body lotion that moisturizes, nourishes and helps protect skin from everyday damage. Neem, a time-honored, natural, antibacterial ingredient, helps protect skin. Almond Oil moisturizes and softens while the Oils of Mowrah, Sunflower and Pumpkin Seed help prevent skin from cracking and help maintain the skins moisture balance, leaving skin soft, protected and well-nourished.
Key ingredients:
Sunflower oil, Almond oil, Neem oil, Mowrah oil, Pumpkin Seed oils
Direction of Usage:
Apply lotion gently all over the body, slowly massaging in. Best used after bathing, when your skin is most receptive to hydration.
Price and Quantity:
Rs. 125 for 200 ml.
About the product:
The product comes in a sleek plastic container with a flip cap which makes it easy to dispense the right amount. I like the packaging and easy to carry.
My take on this product:
This Body lotion is quite thick in texture. It has a fragrance of the oils it contains, mainly the fragrance of almond oil which is mild and is nothing great. It does moisturizes the skin well, but I find it a little greasy after applying for a minute, but, it does get absorbed well later on, and leaves the skin soft and supple. As the product claims, it is suitable for all skin types. I purchased it online and got at a discounted price of Rs 112 for 200 ml. Overall, the product is quite good and can be used often.
Pros of Himalaya Herbals Protecting Body Lotion:
- It moisturizes the skin well.
- The lotion is quite thick in texture .
- Fragrance is mild.
- Decent packaging.
- Worth the price.
- It gets absorbed well
- Suitable for all skin types.
- Availability is not an issue.
Cons of of Himalaya herbals Protecting body lotion:
- It feels little greasy initially.
- Fragrance is not so great.
- It does contain Methylpraben and Propylparaben.
