  • It is a very light hand sanitizer. The consistency is just like water. Just take a drop of sanitizer and rub between your palms. Within seconds the liquid evaporates leaving your hands neat and clean.
  • It has a light lemony fragrance , which I quite like.
  • I use my hands and fingers a lot while doing makeup so I like to start with bacteria free hands, Himalaya Pure hands helps.

Have you used Himalaya Herbals Pure Hands ?

I just received this mail from a reader regrading Lakme Lipstick Exchange Offer. Thought I’d share with you guys:

I’m ***  from Chennai. I have followed your blog for a while now, but have not been able to tune in much recently. Anyway, you had mentioned recently that Lakme have an offer on their lipsticks. The Lakme website also has this offer listed on it. I had some lipsticks that I didn’t want, so I was going to do this and I found out some stuff. I called up the nearest Lakme beauty parlour (which also sells the products) and guess what – they had never even heard about this offer! The lady I spoke to said that no one had told her or anyone else working there about this offer. But when I went to health and glow, the offer was available. The lakme lady there told me that the offer is available only in H & G. I’m not sure if this is true, but just wanted to inform you. Also she said that she would accept the following brand of lipsticks for the offer – Lakme, Maybelline, Colorbar, Revlon, Dazzler, Streetwear and other international brands. However, they will not accept Elle 18. Just an FYI

  1. Hey Rati…I always always have a hand sanitizer in my bag…other than using it before makeup I tend to use it alot outside home too and cant lv my house without this especially on a long day out…though havnt used the himalaya one yet…will try it out..

Regarding the Lakme offer, really surprised that the SA at Lakme wernt aware abt this….this offer is available at the Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Westside, Shopper’s Stop stores in Mumbai and also Abad…

    1. For me also a hand sanitizer is a must have product. Which one do you use? I know that lifebuoy makes one but I always keep going back to Himalaya one. This is my 3rd or 4th bottle.

I don’t know about the Lakme offer. It was available here at the Shopper’s Stop as well. I am not sure of other places though.

  2. Hey Rati. I think I’ll like this. I saw one of my friend using Apollo hand sanitizer and it was good too 🙂 I like to keep my hands and feet clean irrespective of how clean or dirty my body is.. lol !!!

  3. hi rati. i also used 1, i dont rememder the name of the brand though bt it smelt of medicine so i discontinued using it… 🙁
bt dis 1 sounds v tempting .will surely try …

the lakme offer is available at bib bazar too…

    1. This one does not have any medicinal smell. It has a light lemony fragrance. Do give it a try. Start with the tiny bottle. 🙂

  4. I agree Rati….I t doesnt give any alcohol fragrance like the other ones which I used already…More over it doesnt dry my hands….Daily I use this before touching my face… I got 2 months back…only half of it got emptied 😉

  5. I have never used any sanitizer before. I used to go crazy washing my hands. This has been a blessing for me. 🙂 Two months and only half of it is empty? I am wondering whether I am drinking the stuff. Mine gets empty within a month. :rotfl:

  6. This sounds good. I’m using Dermi Cool Skin Defense atm n I looovvve it.
I didn’t even try out the Lakme exchange offer…forgot about it lol 😀

    ♥xx♥

    1. I have only seen the Himalaya and Lifebuoy one here. Will ask for the Dermi cool one once this gets over.

I also gave up on the Lakme offer. Just lost interest midway. 😛
