You all must be aware of the importance of intimate washes for better hygiene. I have been using the Lactacyd Wash for almost 5-6 years now. It is perfect and I have no complaints. But, as with any product, I just got bored of using the same thing over and over again. So, I decided to try something new. I recently came across Himalaya Intimate Wash for Moms and thought to give it a try. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Himalaya Intimate Wash for Moms:
When I was about 19, I had my first bout of vaginal infection. The gynaecologist put me on some medicines and asked me to use Perinea Wash. Since then, I am using intimate washes to prevent vaginal infections and discomfort in future. I have tried few different brands. Some I like, some I don’t.
The sole reason to buy Himalaya Intimate Wash for Moms is that it claims that it is safe to use during pregnancy. No, I am not pregnant but hormones do change after pregnancy. So, not every intimate wash suits me now.
Himalaya Intimate Wash for Moms comes in a white cardboard box. The product comes in a white flat bottle with a green flip open cap. The packaging is quite simple and sturdy. The flip open cap is really tight as it takes a little effort to open. The product is a transparent runny liquid. A coin-sized amount is all that is needed per wash.
It smells divine. It has a very mild floral fragrance. It lathers very well but not like harsh soaps would. It lathers just enough to clean your intimate area. It gives a squeaky clean feeling post wash. Himalaya Intimate Wash for Moms has pH 3.5. It also contains tea tree oil and pongamia oil – both have antifungal properties.
During regular days, I use it 1-2 times a day. During my periods, I use it 2-3 times per day. During travelling, I use it every time I feel I may catch an infection. It is also advised by gynaecologists to use an intimate wash after any sexual activity as there are chances of contamination by dirt, bodily fluids and other factors, causing changes in the vaginal pH.
This product makes me feel super fresh and clean every time I want to. It might belong to the ‘Himalaya for Moms’ range it can still be used by all girls. I believe every girl who has hit puberty should use an intimate wash to keep infections at bay.

• Reduces chances of getting a vaginal infection to a humongous extent
