My Experience with Himalaya Protein Conditioner Softness and Shine:

The conditioner comes in an inverted white bottle with green flip cap. The packaging is both sturdy and travel friendly. The conditioner is very creamy and has a thick consistency. It has a mild floral smell and hence won’t bother sensitive noses. I like to keep it for about 3 minutes before rinsing it out. It takes a little more water to rinse it out of the hair completely.

Protein Conditioner 3

This conditioner makes my hair soft and manageable but don’t expect it to be super smooth. It gives my hair a healthy shine and controls frizz to an extent. This conditioner is meant for dry and damaged hair because for people with oily hair, it might weigh down the hair. It did not cause any hair fall for me. The only issue with this conditioner is that it is not entirely herbal as it contains silicones and parabens which I am trying to stay away from.

Protein Conditioner 4

Pros of Himalaya Protein Conditioner Softness and Shine:

  • Inexpensive.
  • Mild floral fragrance.
  • Makes hair soft and manageable.
  • Controls frizz to an extent.
  • Did not cause any hair fall.
  • Travel-friendly packaging.

Cons of Himalaya Protein Conditioner Softness and Shine:

  • It might not be suitable for oily hair as it will weigh it down.
  • Contains silicones and parabens.

Final Verdict:

If you are looking for a chemical-free conditioner, then this one is not meant for you. If you have dry and damaged hair and have no such issues, then you can try this as this definitely works well as a conditioner. I won’t be repurchasing this as I am happy with my Avalon Organics Conditioner.
