Hip Hop Instant Makeup Remover Pads
I am sure all of you must have heard about the Hip Hop Facial Waxing Strips, which has also been reviewed on IMBB. I don’t have a lot of facial hair, but I got the strips just to see how it works (which I haven’t used yet). Since I heard great things about the brand and when I saw some other products from Hip Hop, I just had to get them. So, today, I am going to review the Hip Hop Instant Makeup Remover Pads.
- Contains vitamin E.
- Removes face and eye make up and leaves skin supple and moisturised.
Rs. 100 for 30 wipes.
Aqua, normal moisturising factor, isopropyl myristate, aleovera, SLES, triphala, silicon, perfume.
The packaging is in a round white tub with inner lid. They do give a tweezer kind of stuff to get it out, but I have lost mine since it wasn’t of any help anyway. It has this citrusy-lemony scent which I like. Its great to take along while travelling as you can just carry it with ease and there is no need to carry separate cotton and stuff. It removes makeup efficiently, even the “long stay” ones, but the “transfer resistant” ones leave behind some traces. The only hitch is that it definitely is not for removing eye makeup. Even if a bit enters the eye, it stings like crazy. For the face, its good and it does not make the skin dry. It is pretty convenient for people who are on-the-go. It saves the hassle of carrying cotton/wiping pads along with the remover.
Swatches of Colorbar I-Glide, Revlon ColorStay Eye Pencil and Lip Color.
After wiping it a couple of times, both the eye pencil swatches are gone, but traces of lip color is still present. After rubbing it a couple of more times, its all gone (almost!).
After wiping off the swatches:
Pros of Hip Hop Instant Makeup Remover Pads:
- Travel friendly.
- Removes all type of makeup.
- Does not dry out the skin.
- Did not cause any breakouts or allergies.
- Does not contain parabens.
- Hip Hop does not test on animals.
Cons of Hip Hop Instant Makeup Remover Pads:
- If it comes in contact with the eyes, it stings a lot, so the claims that it can be used for removing eye makeup is false.
Will I Buy Hip Hop Instant Makeup Remover Pads Again?
Maybe, but only for travel purposes.
