My Experience with H&M Plush Kabuki Brush:

The brush comes in a black plastic zip locked packaging. The packaging is very basic and I would not recommend reusing the cover. It will tear off after few uses and also, the bristles feather out every time you pull it out of the packaging.

H&M Plush Kabuki Brush Packaging

The brush itself is black in color and the bristles are in brown. The handle is matte black. On the handle, one can see the brand logo and also, the kind of brush it is. It is all embossed in golden colour.

H&M Plush Kabuki Brush Handle

The handle is sturdy and easy to work with. Over the period of time, the handle may look dull due to wear and tear. But as we all know, the most important part is the bristles.

H&M Plush Kabuki Brush Holding Brush

The bristles are uneven and tweaking. I hate it when the bristles are uneven. I believe that the whole purpose of this brush is lost. The craftsmanship is not good at all. It screams that it is made of nylon or polyester.

H&M Plush Kabuki Brush Touching Bristles

When I first opened the packaging and touched it, it felt like faux fur scarf. The skin on the face is very sensitive and the bristles feel prickly when used. I do not like the feel of the brush and would not use it. Also, the brush and the bristles smell of plastic. Might be the smell vanishes after a few days if kept in open air, but I would still not recommend it for sensitive noses.

H&M Plush Kabuki Brush Brush in Hand

The brush head is quite big and covers large areas. So, it is made suitable for applying loose powder all over the face. Since it is synthetic, it is easy to maintain. One just needs to wash it with some shampoo and air dry it.

Overall it’s a below average product. I do not think that it is worth the money.

Pros of H&M Plush Kabuki Brush:

  • Looks good.
  • Not expensive.
  • Tightly packed bristles.
  • Easy maintenance.

Cons of H&M Plush Kabuki Brush:

  • Smells like plastic.
  • Uneven and tweaking bristles.
  • Pricks the skin when used.
  • Nonreusable packaging.
  • Bristles shed.
  • Bristles look and feel synthetic.
