My Experience with H&M Plush Powder Brush:

The brush comes in a black plastic zip-lock packaging. The packaging is very basic and I would not recommend reusing the cover. It will tear off after a few uses and also the bristles feather out every time you pull the brush out of the packaging. The brush itself is black in color and the bristles are brown. The handle is matte black.

H&M Plush Powder Brush Packaging

On the handle, one can see the brand logo and also the kind of brush it is. It is all embossed in a golden font. The handle is sturdy and easy to work with. Over the period of time, the handle may look dull due to wear and tear. But, as we all know, the most important part are the bristles.

H&M Plush Powder Brush Handle

The bristles are uneven and tweaking. I hate it when the bristles are uneven. I believe the whole purpose is defeated. The craftsmanship is not good at all. This brush is so similar to the Kabuki Brush from H&M, except for the long handle. When I first opened the packaging and touched the brush, it felt like a faux fur scarf.

H&M Plush Powder Brush Bristles

The skin on my face is very sensitive and the bristles feel prickly when used. I do not like the feel of the brush and would not use it. Also, the brush as well as the bristles smell like plastic. The smells might vanish after a few days but I would still not recommend it if you have a sensitive nose. The smell proves that it is made of nylon or polyester.

H&M Plush Powder Brush in Hand

The brush head is quite big and covers large areas. So, it’s suitable for applying loose powder all over the face. Since it’s synthetic, it’s easy to maintain. One just needs to wash it with some shampoo and air dry it. Overall, it’s a below average product. I do not think it’s worth the money.

Pros of H&M Plush Powder Brush:

Looks good
Not expensive
Tightly packed bristles
Easy maintenance

Cons of H&M Plush Powder Brush:

Smells like plastic
Uneven and tweaking bristles
Pricks the skin
Packaging is not reusable
Sheds bristles
Bristles look and feel synthetic
