My Experience with Holika Holika Pig Nose Blackhead Cleansing Clear Scrub
I have already reviewed the blackhead peeling massage gel from Holika Holika a few days back. I picked this sugar scrub as well from the rage.

This sugar scrub comes in this adorable baby pink jar. it’s a simple packaging but the graphics are so cute, you never want to get rid of it. 😀

So basically you put this sugar scrub on your nose, leave it for 15 minutes, massage and the rinse it off. It sticks properly on the nose without sugar bits falling off from the skin. This sugar scrub has a mix of both big and small granules so if you are very sensitive, be a bit careful. But I personally like to go all in with the massage to get rid of the blackheads. It is great for all skin types. It contains pink clay that helps in absorbing excess sebum. Lemon extracts and aloe vera a great nourishing ingredients for skin.

So after 15 minutes of leaving it, I start massaging my nose. The bigger sugar bits gets a bit softer and it turns into a bit stretchy gel clay like consistency. You can feel it getting rid of gunk on the nose. Then you rinse it off. Although it leaves the nose feeling very soft and nourishes, it is not super impressive in getting rid of the blackheads. I’d say that it would get rid of may be 30-40% of the small blackheads but not the real nasty ones. That said, I don’t mind it all it leaves your nose looking all glowing and soft. 😀 I find the blackhead peeling gel more effective than this one. I don’t regret purchasing it and I’d probably repurchase too because it is a great maintenance product. Even if you use it twice a week it still keeps your nose looking much cleanser than if you were not using anything to keep your blackheads at bay. Not the best but not bad at all.
