My Experience with Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Blackhead Peeling Massage Gel
I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this product with you all. 😀 I picked up a bunch of Holika Holika products from Russia. Black heads and white heads have been the problem of my life. So I like to try any product that claims to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads. I started using this the day I got it.

First, let’s start with the packaging. It’s sooo cute – all blue and pink squeezed tube with narrow nozzle. Simple and sweet. And I mean the name pig-nose is so cute and disgusting and true. I can’t even… 😛

It is a semi thick sticky clear gel. You apply it on your nose, leave it for 10-15 minutes. It starts looking oily after a while and your blackheads start looking so prominent and disgusting. Then you rub it and it starts getting oily and fevicol(y). You remember how fevicol gets after drying and when you press and roll it with your finger it gathers up. This is how this product behaves. Somehow it loosens up the blackheads and as you massage the product on your nose it starts removing the blackheads and whiteheads from your nose. I’d say that it removes 80% of blackheads and it is BRILLIANT. It leaves your nose so clean, soft and shiny. It really takes out a lot of gunk from your pores. It’s like magic. I used it the first time around and I couldn’t believe that a blackhead product could be this effective. I mean you know how most blackhead products turn out to be such duds. Now I am addicted to it.

The cons would be that it does not remove all your blackheads. But I feel it is an excellent at-home use product and would save you so much money from your salon trips. I get my blackheads removed at a salon every once in a while but this product has definitely helped. Plus especially when you are going out and you don’t have enough time this product is a life saviour.

Second, your blackheads would always come back. So this is a maintenance product and rather a very good one.

Third, OMG! I absolutely hate to write this but availability is such an issue. Even in Moscow I found these products only at one shop. I never want it to get over. 🙁 The only good thing is that you don’t have to use a lot of it in one go. If you find it online, pllleeeasse do let me know.
