DIRECTIONS: Apply a proper amount to all over the face with dry hands. Avoid eyes and lips area. About a minute after, massage to remove dead skin cells and wash it off with lukewarm water. (Use it once a week)

My Experience with Holika Holika Smoothie Peeling Gel

My experience with Holika Holika products have been excellent so far. I love using that pig nose scrub for blackheads and I am already half way though this Smoothie Peeling Gel.

Berry Festival Smoothie Peeling Gel is a thin pale lemon coloured gel mask. You apply it and leave it for a minute and then you massage and peel it off. The massaging motion makes it viscous and helps in getting rid of dead skin cells.  I sometimes let it sit for 15-20 minutes. It dries to a mud like texture and you could massage it off lightly from your skin. It sort of flakes off and then you wash it off with water.

I regularly use it and leaves a lovely glow to my skin. Plus my skin and pores look so clean and clear.It takes off all the dead skin cells on your skin. I love the effect it gives to my skin. But one day I used it on a highly irritated skin. I also had a few red rashes on my skin. It not only got rid of tiny bumps on my skin but also calmed down the redness on my skin. I have been a biggest fan of this mask since them. I mean how many times you come across a product that pampers your skin and leaves it baby soft within 15-20 minutes. I really wasn’t expecting it to show such massive results but it has become such a go to for me.

I would say that you have to use quite a bit in one go. Because the gel is thin and I feel to get an even application you have to use it generously in one go. So I am finishing this tube at quite a good speed. I use it mostly once a week and esp on days when my skin can do with a bit more pampering than the regular days.

I smells mildly fruity. I can’t exactly pin point what it smells of but it is not bothersome at all. It smells nice.
I love the lovely tube packaging. It stands upright on my shelf.

It does not make my skin dry or oily. It just stabilises the PH of my skin, I feel. I always follow it up with a moisturiser because I have normal to dry skin.

Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely maintainance skin care mask. It is one heck of an effective one.
