Homemade Cranberry Anti-Ageing Face Pack

Hello All You Lovely Ladies,

Here I bring to you another DIY Anti-Ageing Anti-Dullness face mask using Cranberries, Yogurt, Honey and Olive oil.  As you all know, I love making these DIYs using ingredients which can be found easily at home. With such homemade beauty DIYs, first you can be sure of their freshness and also be sure that they are free of any harmful ingredients.  Since I last made cranberry and sugar face and body scrub (DIY posted on IMBB), I loved the effects of it so much that I decided to incorporate cranberries in a face mask too.

For this mask, you will need:

  • Handful of cranberries.
  • 1-2 tsp yogurt (preferably full fat).
  • 1-2 tsp honey.
  • 1-2 tsp olive oil.

Method:

  • Blend cranberries and yogurt in the blender to make a smooth paste.

  • Add in honey and olive oil.

  • Apply on clean face and neck and keep on for 20 minutes.

  • Wash off with warm water and follow up with cold water.

This mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a wee,  but I recommend making a fresh batch every time if you can. Use this twice a week to see amazing results. You will notice that your skin feels tighter and smoother. It also gets rid of the dead cells and dull skin. You will notice after using this facial mask how much brighter your skin looks because of all the vitamins and minerals it receives.

Benefits:

Cranberries:  Cranberries help fight against free radicals, the cause of premature aging such as wrinkling of the skin. It also aids in moisture retention, improving skin elasticity and suppleness. It also smoothes skin texture and brightens the complexion.

Honey:  Honey acts as a great anti-aging agent and moisturizer. It is rich in natural antioxidants that have anti-microbial properties. Honey also has the ability to absorb and retain moisture and this helps in keeping the skin well hydrated, fresh and supple.

Olive Oil:  The antioxidants present in olive oil along with the vitamin E help in preventing cell degeneration in your skin, thus preventing premature ageing.

Yogurt:  Lactic acid property of yogurt helps in hydrating the skin and gets rid of dullness.
