Hello beautiful 🙂
We Indian always have parties, festivals or some other occasion, so we need a glowing face to attend them. After a hot and sweaty summer, the monsoon comes as a relief but the sun takes the inner glow of our skin. So with season we need to bring small changes in our skin care routine to keep the skin glowing & fresh. Fungal and bacterial infections are common during rainy season.

Moist and damp skin leads to these infections. Also, you can get rashes and so many other skin problems. So, I like to take a home facial at the time of season change. This keeps my skin moisturizing, soft and infection free. Today I’d like to share with you a home facial recipe. This is easy to make with your stored kitchen ingredients. I have an oily skin but this facial is for all skin type. It makes your skin soft, supple and gives a crystal glow to your sun damaged skin. It makes you ready for any occasion.
Ingredients You Need:

Cleansing:
• Gram flour (how much you need to clean your face properly)
• Rose water (if you have dry skin then you can use milk)
Scrubbing:
• 1 ½ tablespoon of Oats
• 1 tablespoon of Honey
Toning:
• 1 table spoon of Green Tea
• ½ table spoon of Lemon
Face Pack:
• 2 table spoon of Yogurt
• 1 table spoon of Aloe Vera
• ½ table spoon of Turmeric
• 1 table spoon of Honey
Procedure:
At first you need to wash your hands properly and clean all the bowls you have to use to avoid obstacles during rainy season. And you must take a clean fresh towel to wipe your skin with. This makes your facial perfect.
Cleansing:
Cleansing is the first step of facial. Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour with rose water. Make a smooth paste and apply on face. Gently rub the mixture in a circular motion for 1-2 min. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Scrubbing:
Take 1 ½ tablespoon of oats and 1 tablespoon of honey. Combine them together. It looks yummy and tasty but don’t put it into your mouth. Apply this on your face and scrub gently in an upward motion. Rub smoothly towards the nasal area to clear your black heads. After that, wash it off.
Toning:
Mix green tea (1 tablespoon) and lemon (½ tablespoon) together. Take a cotton pad and dab the solution to your face, massage it for a minute. Let it set for 5 min, wipe off with a clean towel or a tissue.
Face Pack:
Create a face mask by mixing 2 tablespoon of yogurt with 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera and ½ tablespoon of Turmeric. Then add 1 table spoon of Honey. Mix them together. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture. Let it dry completely after which rinse it with lukewarm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.
Moisturizing:
After completing the previous steps, last and most important step is to keep moisturizing your face. So you need to apply a good moisturizer according to your skin type. I generally use Aloe Vera gel or an oil free lotion.
Summer is the season when the skin becomes so dull. So to get back my old skin, I use this facial once in a week. I love to use this facial to make my skin healthy and radiant. It can really change the nature of the skin. This also suits all skin types so, try it and enjoy your crystal glowing skin.
