7 Homemade Packs for Dark Neck

Today, I am back with a post on, “Homemade face packs for dark neck”. Since our neck is always a bit darker than the rest of our face and usually, it starts showing the signs of ageing first as well, it makes sense to take extra care of it and pamper it on a regular basis. Therefore, stay tuned to find some amazing homemade packs!


1. Dried Orange Peels and Yoghurt:

Along with skin lightening properties, orange peels cure acne, remove dead skin cells, closes open pores and treats severely dry skin too. Whereas, yoghurt has essential nutrients that your skin needs and also lactic acid that exfoliates your skin, lightens it and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and other first signs of ageing.

2. Tomato, Oatmeal and Milk:


Containing lycopene, one of the most important elements that help eliminate skin ageing free radicals, tomatoes are the star kitchen ingredient that works wonder when it comes to taking care of your skin and providing it with the nourishment that it craves and deserves. On the other hand, oatmeal helps in brightening and lightening skin, soothing irritated area and treating acne and pimples to give way for a clearer and fairer complexion.

3. Lemon Juice and Gram Flour:

Lemon juice has high quantities of citric acid which is known to make your complexion lighter and brighter. Whereas, gram floor is an excellent exfoliator and polishes dead skin cells away and makes your skin smoother, softer and feather-like. However, some sensitive skinned beauties may find this particular pack a bit harsh due to presence of lemon juice and can mix aloe vera, milk or yoghurt in it as well.

4. Turmeric and Yoghurt:


Turmeric has amazing anti-inflammatory qualities that work on reducing acne scars and cleansing your skin from deep within. Also, when mixed with a medium like milk, lemon and yoghurt turmeric acts as a powerful skin whitener and gets rid of all the dead and worn out skin cells to make your face and neck glow from within. To get the optimum results, make a thick paste of turmeric and yoghurt and apply on your neck and wash after 30 minutes. Apply this paste twice a week for at least a month to see results.

5. Papaya and Banana:

Papaya contains high quantities of papain, an element that reduces scars, works wonders on blemishes and lightens the skin tone effectively. Also, raw banana is known to whiten skin effectively when used as a face pack and is probably one of the most powerful kitchen ingredients that lighten and brighten skin complexion.

6. Vitamin E and Almond Powder:


Vitamin E has high quantity of antioxidants that fight free radicals and delay the process of ageing, apart from which it makes skin smooth, supple and clearer. On the other hand, almond powder acts as an emollient and dissolves away skin impurities and works like a gentle exfoliator as well.

7. Sandalwood, Aloe Vera Juice and Milk:

Sandalwood is known to cool down the body, reduce pimples and acne and is generally used a lot in various skin treatments all over the India. Also, aloe vera juice works best for sensitive skinned beauties and treats hyper pigmentation and is useful in lightening the skin tone as well. Whereas, milk contains high quantity of lactic acid which is proven to exfoliate dead cells away and reveal a beautiful complexion from within.
