My Experience with Hourglass No. 4 Crease Brush:

Packaging:  The brush does not have any fancy packaging. Comes in a plastic wrap with no box.

Handle:  The handle of this brush is a very sleek, gunmetal color with some weight to it. The weight helps the brush sit comfortable in the hand and helps give good application.

Bristles:  The bristles are synthetic Taklon which feel super duper soft on the skin. No scratchiness. The brush itself isn’t very fluffy (see comparison to Sigma E40 for reference), but it is dense enough which gives me precise blending in the crease and I can also use this brush to apply highlight to my brow bone.  I love the size of this brush which helps give me perfect precision in blending out harsh edges of my shadow yet not get the color diffused everywhere. I can even use this brush to blend out color precisely in my outer V without any difficulty.

I can even use my alcohol-based spot cleaner to clean the synthetic bristles with no concern about damaging them. This brush cleans up very easily and nicely with any cleaner. It does not shed at all and retains shape even after many washes.

Hourglass No. 4 Crease Brush

I can use just this brush and my Hourglass all over shadow brush and easily create a variety of eye looks.  Overall, highly impressed with this brush. It is an expensive brush, but it is definitely a quality investment which will benefit you for a long time. I definitely 100% recommend this brush along with other Hourglass all over shadow brush.

Pros of Hourglass No. 4 Crease Brush:

  • Weighted handle, feels comfortable in the hands.
  • Super soft bristles.
  • Dense bristles.
  • Does not shed.
  • Cleans up easily with any brush cleaner.
  • Can use this brush to blend out shadow in my crease, outer V and brow bone all in one.

Cons of Hourglass No. 4 Crease Brush:

  • Expensive.
