How to Add a Pop of Color to Your Eyes in the Minimalistic Way

By “GILD By Vinnie Kapoor

Hi, ladies!
Many a times we like to add a pop of color to our eyes, but I have seen that most of the women are afraid of adding such colors. I have come up with this tutorial where one can add a pop color in a very less quantity and yet can look sassy. This look is amazing for your workplace or for day time. One can never go wrong with this look as the entire look is so subtle and very less accent color is there. I have tried to explain it in the easiest way, but in case of any doubts, you can contact me anytime.
How to Add a Pop of Color to Your Eyes in the Minimalistic Way

Step 1

Apply an eye primer to your eyelids and blend it well.
step 1

Step 2

Fill in your eyebrows to make them look complete.
step 2

Step 3

Apply the lightest color which is good for highlighting the arch area under the eyebrow. I have selected the shade ‘buff’ from the Lorac Pro Palette.
step 3

Step 4

Apply a color like brown but it should be at least 2 shades darker than your skin tone at the crease area. I have mixed shade ‘Lt. brown’ and ‘cool grey’ from the same Lorac Pro Palette.
step 4

Step 5

Now, take a shade which will highlight your eyes and is very subtle and muted also. And apply it on the eyelid area under the crease. I have selected a soft peachy sort of shade. I have combined the shades ‘Nectar’ and ‘Beige’ from the Lorac Pro Palette.
step 5

Step 6

Now, apply a lighter color just at the inner corners of the eyes to highlight the area so that eyes appear bigger. I have selected the shade ‘snow’ from the Lorac palette.
step 6

step 7

Step 7

Now, apply a very thin liner close to your eyelashes with a slight wink. I have selected to put a thin liner because I wanted to keep it subtle as I want the entire focus to be on the ‘pop of color’. Also, I have applied kohl on the outside area of the lower waterline, that too starting from the outer corners to mid eye as it will give a good shape to my eyes.
step 8

Step 8

And now, we are close to the most important part, i.e adding a pop of color to your eye. I have chosen ‘aqua’ color as pop color for my this look. But, one can choose any bright color. Now, add the bright aqua color at the inner corner of the eye and blend it with the black color at the mid of the eye, just like shown in the picture.

step 9

Step 9

Now apply the mascara to finish the look.
step 10

Step 10

You are now ready to rock a subtle look with a pop of colour.
step 11
