    1. can we get cosmetics delivered from amazon? and how abt shipping and customs? I tried ordering a watch with their global shipping facility but the shipping and tax was way more than the MRP of the watch itself. Plz enlighten me Jomo.. 😀

  1. I was about to post this query.. i need answers too ladies. My belly is itching badly , i am going mad. i am 5 weeks 5days pregnant. please help ladies . i need tips to not gain too much weight too as i am petite (4.11″) Thanks in Advance

      1. Stretch marks are largely unavoidable, and some people are prone to developing them, some don’t. Gentle oil massage is helpful, any oil is OK.

Avoid excessive weight gain. Normal weight gain during pregnancy is 10 to 12 kgs. 3 kg baby, 500 gm placenta, 5 to 6 kg maternal weight gain to prepare for lactation. Rest is the increased blood volume and all. I know women who have gained even 20 kg to have a “chubby” baby- an exercise in futility. Avoid eating junk food for the extra calories. But eating 300 extra calories apart from your RDA per day is a must.

  2. Strech marks are to taken care from the early months of pregnancy though we cannot avoid it totally. Try any products with Shea butter as the main content that will help reduce the marks intensity. Hope this will help.

  3. Hi, I have just started my 9th month…expecting the baby by end of march…
Ever since my 4th month, I have been religiously putting on Biotique Cocoa Butter and sometimes a normal body lotion(Nivea Whitening Cell Repair & UV Protect Body Lotion).
Also I scrub my tummy once a week…I hardly got any stretch marks till now!
If i forget to moisturize even 1 day, it itches….So I guess keeping ur skin hydrated works!

  4. I have used kasturi manjal(haldi) with coconut oil.It reduced my mark..but i was not regular..but my mom says it really works..
    give is a try.

  5. congragulations… massaging with olive oil works better… But also follow it up with palmers moisturizing lotion… But i am not sure whether its available in india… Happy pregnancy 🙂

  6. I did not have much, considering how much you bloat u know 🙂 but my doc has suggested daily usage of stretch nil after 4months
but bio oil and palmers is good if you could find it 🙂

  7. My Aunt, Sister and all my relatives told me n number of times to apply SESAME oil (GINGELY OIL) or castor oil, the process is it needs to be applied at night before sleep, wait for 30 mins then rinse with luke warm water..

I didnt care it at that time.. now i have the worst stretch marks 🙁

  8. I m 7 months pregnant with my second child in my first pregnancy i don;t get any stretch marks 🙂 without using any creams but now i m regularly using Luciara cream which is prescribed by my Gyne & i don’t have any strtch marks so far….

      1. Hi Guys.. I am 19 weeks pregnant, and I have started getting stretch marks on my inner thigh and hips.. I am really worried now..
My doc suggested me Astria or Luciara cream.. but I am not able to find any reviews on the same..
Some of my friends suggested me Olive oil and some Forest Essential’s Stretch Oil..
        I ma really confused..

        Pls Help!!!
