Lopamudra G. asks:

Hi Everyone,

I am a 32-year-old working lady staying in Kolkata. My skin is wheatish and normal. But I look dull after some time when I am out of home. Also, please tell me how can I soften my dry hair. It is a bit rough.

Thanks,

Lopamudra

  1. cant help you on the dull face problem ๐Ÿ™ but for rough hair – there are a lot of home made masks on imbb… look for them… i too had very dry hair since some time and i used Herbal essence hello hydration conditioner… it did wonders for my dry hair ! its a must try ๐Ÿ™‚ and oil your hair regularly … never forget it before shampooing ๐Ÿ™‚ all the best ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. i dont know whether it will work for you or not, but i am also wheatish with normal to dry skin. i strictly follow CTM routine (cleansing, toning and moisturizing) before going out. and also rubbing ice on face is a great help. i also use little bit of Johnson baby face powder, it really makes my dull face white instantly.

For hair once a week i use Besan+Olive Oil+ Curd+ Lemon juice on my hair. i am doing it from past 4-5 months and its doing magic on my hair. i have also got dry hair it not only made it soft but also my dandruff problem has almost gone.

  3. Try and stick to products (Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing products) that suit to your skin type. Do not change them often. Also, wear a good sunscreen when you go out in the sun.
If you want instant results, a safe bet is chemical peels. But make sure you get it done by a good dermatologist. If possible, try to get a list of products (both for hair and skin) prescribed by a dermatologist. Because many a times, there are real good medicated (available at medical shops only) products that we do not know about, but work like magic in our skin. Your dermatologist could help you discover them.

  4. nothing works like basic mosturization two times a day and that too within three minutes of patting face dry after washing….buy a brightening facewash and dont forget sunscreen.
once a week mix sugar and lime juice and do exfoliation at home… will really brighten up your skin…
