How To Feel Fresh At Work Throughout The Day

Most working women complain that at some point in a day, they don’t feel fresh and awake at work . Reasons behind it are many! I am a working woman myself and I encountered the same problem last month. I felt so lazy all the time and everybody was noticing it, so embarrassing ehh! So, I didn’t leave that there. I worked out a few things, cultivated some habits and now I am in quite a good position to share some tips. Please keep reading to know how to look fresh at work throughout the day.

How To Feel Fresh At Work Throughout The Day

1. Sleep well:

If you are sleep deprived, you can never look fresh and active at work. Make sure you are having 7-8 hours sleep. For that, hit the bed early and give up the pleasure of binge watching your favorite TV series.

2. Start your day with some work-out:

Be it yoga, aerobics, zumba or running, you need to shake that body up a little every morning. This releases tension from the muscles and you don’t feel fatigue and lethargic throughout the day.

3. Have a healthy breakfast:

Breakfast is the first meal of the day and if it is healthy, it’s going to make you feel energetic throughout the day. Eat anything, veg or non veg according to your preference, but make sure it’s fresh and healthy. Rather than fruit juice, go for fruit salad to reap the benefits of fibre.

4. Plan your day:

Before leaving for work, sit down and plan your day in your head and feeling positive about it is very important at this moment. Save a note of important things in your phone or write down on your notepad, do it as you please. Planning will help you feel relaxed and you won’t panic unnecessarily. This will let you feel fresh and maintain that pretty smile on your face too.

5. Stop relying on caffeine:

I know it’s HAARRRDDD! But for that energy kick every now and then, stop depending on caffeine. Take some green tea bags along with you  or homemade butter milk (chaas , lassi ), a smoothie or anything healthy to curb those attacks when you just wanna gulp something tasty (unhealthy strong tea and coffee).

6. Stay Active:

Don’t sit in your chair all day long. Do some brisk walking and if possible some exercise and basic stretching to keep the laziness away and your blood circulation okay.

7. Avoid ordering junk food:

The temptation of chole bathure and samosas is world famous. It’s very common to feel that craving on a bland kinda day at work. Control and don’t order that super oily stuff because that makes you look bloated and sleepy. Once in a while, it is okay, but on a daily basis, never eat unhealthy junk food from thelas. This also invites stomach infection and then you know it better.

8. Listen to peppy music:

Kala Chashma , Ghani Baanwari and Kar gayu chull, get all those numbers and make a separate playlist to pump yourself up when you feel lazy. It does make a lot of difference instantly. Enjoy it with a colleague or alone, but do try this trick. It worked for me like magic. Any kind of music which makes you wanna dance is enough to charge you up and feel fresh at work.
