Hello Beautiful Ladies,
Hope you all are doing good and keeping it stylish 🙂 Winter is here and in Netherlands, it gets damn windy! And if you let your hair loose, you would have a monstrous mane and to the rescue comes your hair clips, bands and everything to keep your hair in place! Well, I have limp hair and I always go for anything that adds volume to my hair. I used to buy a doughnut band for my hair for making those perfect messy buns until I found a way to do them using just a sock!!!!!! So here is how it is so that you can use those old socks and recycle them to keep yourself stylish!
- A Black sock (depending on your hair colour).
Cut off the toe part of the sock and then you get 2 ends open.
Now, hold the end that is cut and start folding it outwards till the other end.
Tie up a pony, (you can tie it up as high as you want) and secure it tight with a band.
Then pass this Sock Donut through the pony.
Now invert the hair and make it sit properly over the donut.
Then secure it with a band and the rest of the hair tie it around the bun.
The end product should look something like this.
Voila! your sock doughnut is ready.
Now to use it, all you have to do is tie up a pony and place the sock doughnut and tie it up and pin it. You can make a messy look, or a classy one using a braid,. The choice is all yours. It adds volume to the hair and looks just fab! This is how it looks with the sock bun.
So, it just takes a minute or two to make the sock bun, so just find an old sock and make a doughnut hairstyle.
